Phoenix Mercury vs Minnesota Lynx: Mercury +4.5

The Lynx have a game tomorrow (vs Sparks) and the Mercury are missing some players (Hartly Out, Griner gone home but i still think Mercury can keep this game very close today. The line last meeting was Lynx +2 and Mercury had no Griner for that game so should there be a 6.5 point swing? Not too sure but the Mercury can still get into fourth spot and a win today against a team that is above them would help them achieve that goal. 

Well scouted, Oz. A great start for the Mercury. It’s going to take a huge Lynx effort to beat the number. 

A game is never over until the final whilst Gambit.. Just remember that game with Indy which Minny went on a crazy 23-2 run. Anything is possible. 

Yeah that’s true. I did make that same argument not too long ago lol. We’re on opposite sides on this one so one of us is guaranteed a win! Let’s see what happens.

So that win for Mercury puts them 9-7 with 6 games to go and holding down 6th. 
Lynx still, in 4th with a 10-5 record and 7 games to go.

Two big games tomorrow (make up games).

Fever vs Wings. Fever 9th, with a 5-10 record and the Wings 8th with a 6-10 record. Wings have the tie-breaker over the Fever so if Indy wins, they will still be 9th. Wings win, they will remain in 8th because the Sun won today and has a game in hand over the Wings. 

Lynx vs Sparks, you would think the Sparks win this gam which keeps them in 3rd with a 12-4 record. Lynx with a  10-5 record and could lose some ground if they lose to Sparks. Sparks could be 13-4 after tomorrow's game which would put them into 2nd spot but the Aces have a game in hand.

The WNBA rescheduled the Storm vs Aces game for the 13th September (last day of reg season) which could be a massive game for top seed. 

Good win, Oz. That was well thought out. Lynx gave a scare with possible overtime. 

The Association knew exactly what to do with that makeup game between Seattle and Vegas for the last day of the season. 

Following the late game now hoping to break even but for the vig tonight.

I’m leaning Fever tomorrow so hopefully we get a good number for them, feeling they’ll be a small dog but maybe the day’s action will push the number in their favor.

Looks like the Fever play the Sky tomorrow not the Wings. I take back what I said about leaning Fever. 

It appears it might be the survival of the fittest this season.

Hartley is gone for the season now for the Mercury. Another players leaves the hub. 

Sky down to 8 players, and Mercury has 9.

@ Foolsgambit - with that Sparks win today, they sit in 3rd at 12-3 record and a win tomorrow would put them 3 wins ahead of Lynx. Lynx needs to be careful with the Sky close by and now Phoenix not too far behind them. Only 2 weeks left before the playoffs and most teams have 6-7 games left so I expect these girls to really ramp up their games for the teams that have a chance of making it. Dream can still finish in the playoffs but I doubt it.

So a big opportunity for the Sky to gain ground tomorrow even with only 8 players. Though Dupree and the Mitchells have been playing well for Indy. Might be a closer game than I think. 

Dream have to finish the season against teams than can definitely beat them in New York, Vegas, Chicago, and Connecticut
