Well here is some news, Layshia Clarendon is questionable tomorrow for the Sun. They have been missing her massively off the bench and if she comes back and the Sun advance to the WNBA Finals, then she is a great addition.

 Washington Mystics @ Las Vegas Aces: Mystics-3

Meesseman has been pulling the Aces apart in the first two games which has provided EDD with a breath of fresh air because Laimbeer has been focusing too much attention on EDD and not Meesseman. He simply has no answers. I don't see how Mystics don't win this game. They have travelled less, had a lot more rest compared to the Aces and this will now be the Aces 4th playoff games in 6 nights with the travel as well. They barely got past the Sky last time they played in Las Vegas and with EDD really wanting this championship this season, I expect a massive game from her and the rest of the Mystics to clean sweep the Aces.

Well played Laimbeer. You got A'ja to show up. Up 77-62 heading into the 4Q and this game is already over. At one stage, it was 31-27 Mystics and then Thibault doesn't call a timeout until his girls are down by 8 at 41-33. So the Aces go on a nice 14-2 run and then decides to call a TO. Interesting tactic there.

Game on in that series. The Mystics have shown their weaknesses.

Actually BananaGod, I am going to sit this one out.

If this was at Staples I would be over the Sparks but how many actual fans will show up for this game and provide a home court atmosphere? I don't know this arena too well so better to sit back and watch and not force anything.

Actually why is it not on staples? Any reasons?

I am seeing conflicting reports. One says its because of the Emmy's and then Nneka stated its because of the Kings NHL Pre-season game.

Hey aussie does homecourt really affects the players?

Some cappers may or may not believe it but I certainly do. Home court/field is massive in all leagues. This this season, 8 out of the 12 teams have a winning season at home, but just the one team had a winning season on the road and that's in a league where some home fans don't even show up and these girls are playing in front of 2000 fans.

NBA and NFL especially for me is massive as well. The Aussie B'ball leagues as well are very home dominants. I also think it comes down to schedule and certain situations, I am a massive advocate for SDQL which allows you to write your own queries to look for certain angles/trends on how teams do in certain situations.

The Sparks season has ended and I did not see that coming at all. Congrats for anyone that took the Sun ML. This Sparks team looks like a disaster right now. They need to say goodbye to Riquna Williams IMHO. Not sure where they go next season, maybe Candace will retire, she either seems hurt or not interested.

Congrats to the Sun and Miller, they get more rest than the Mystics/Aces which is good and if the Aces can play the way they did today, that series may go to 5 games.

Agree mate, this performance is a complete embarrassment and I think we see some off-season movement. To come out like they did in the biggest game of the season was just atrocious. Sun deserve to be there, played so well and didn't have too many hiccups this season compared to last. Should be a good WNBA Finals and if they do play the Mystics, the Sun actually beat them 2-1 this season but one game was without EDD.
