Totals have gone OVER in August (8-2-2 OVER) after starting the season 48-69 O/U.
Sky scored over 40 points in a quarter last night when we have seen 25 point quarters combined this year...it's crazy, and we are trying to predict what women will do?
Maybe it serves us right.
Why the Liberty were fouling in the last minute down >6 points was a head scratcher, sometimes bad coaches perform worse in the last two minutes of a ball game....Katie Smith evidently was a hell of a player, but is equally as bad of a coach....life balances out sometimes.
Indigo lines
Mystics -14 Fever 168
Mystics have played some very good road games this season, and their backcourt is above the league average....it is a guard driven sport, basketball these days.
Sparks -4 Mercury 163
Leelani Mitchell could close her eyes and make threes it seems...she's been incredible and evidently she was almost cut during the preseason...lucky for the Mercury that they didn't...she's been their best player in the last month. Their backcourt with January and Mitchell is savvy and tough and both are very capable of hitting the long ball...I watched them hang with the Mystics and the Sun on the road and in the last few days....very impressive. I don't know the status of the Prima Donna, but that'd be better without her, as the Mercury are playing tough, well and together, even in the games Griner falls asleep. I'd trade Griner for a bushel of draft picks in the off season to some big deficient team and they wouldn't be worse for wear.
Storm -8 Wings 157
Storm coming back to earth after overachieving for the first 3 months. They have limited offensive prowess, but they've slowed the games down and played a trapping style of defense that works particularly well when the other team has deficient point guard play, which describes Dallas. It was a huge surprise when these teams went on a scoring spree last game they played in Seattle. Dallas blew their last game that could've won versus Vegas with both Bigs out for Vegas...they had their chances but could not get the W. Both of these head coaches are excellent, top three in the league and they have gotten a lot of mileage out of the limited personnel they started with this season....next season both of these teams should be solid producers. Davis and Thornton both can be very good two guards in the WNBA, and basically they play iso-ball in the fourth quarter if its close. Alisha Gray is worthless and their rookie point guard brings nothing offensively. Glory Johnson finally is producing as well, and should match up with the one very good player for the Storm in Howard.

PHO best defensive team in league still although I don't think so. The last one yes the last game went way over but stay away from DAL I cant figure them out. And SEA plays good D AND DAL is horrid (have they won one yet?) on the road. TT under I think DAL
