So Taurasi is back. She has been cleared to play medically but needs to sit her one game suspension after jumping off the bench in that altercation with the Wings team. She will serve that suspension vs the Aces on Tuesday but will be ready to play the Sky on the 25th which is their next game after the Aces game.
Sky @ Dream Feel as though Sky didn't play that bad vs the Aces, the refs were clearly calling some ridiculous fouls on them but also the Aces were red hot. The Sky can redeem themselves against a Dream team who have nothing to play for apart from draft picks. Said it before, would be careful backing the bottom 4 teams now until the end of the season because you do not know what kind of mood they will be in. The last game saw the Sky win 87-75 and they also won the first contest 77-76. The Dream played well against the Aces and the Mercury for the first 3 quarters and then no show in the 4th for both games. The line should be Sky -3.5 and total around 160
Liberty @ Fever No comment
Mercury @ Aces The Mercury get Griner back for this game and do they go on a bit of a run to close out the season and aim for a home elimination game in Round 1? I think so. Mercury are one of those teams that it doesn't really matter where they finish in the playoffs, they always bring their A game and with Taurasi coming back and getting 7 games under her belt before the post-season, I think they can do some damage. The Aces coming off one of their best road games of the year against the Sky and A'ja was phenomenal in that game. Their guards are always scary though, Young and Plum are hit and miss and you don't know which one is going to show up because rarely they both do. Griner will be p!ssed, and I would like to see how the refs treat her in this game against Cambage and Wilson. Cambage has also hit out at Allie Quigley and the Sky team as apparently Cambage verbally attacked Cheyenne Parker and the Sky team were not happy with the comments she said. Its all on twitter, so check out those players accounts. These 2 teams haven't played since May, which was a 86-84 win for Phoenix at home. They do play again on the final day of the regular season as well. No further injuries I know off, the line could be Aces -6.5 and 161
Lynx @ Sparks Lynx started slow and never recovered vs the Storm yesterday. Down 11-0 at one stage in the 1Q. They got within 4 but couldn't get any closer. The Sparks looked bad on their recent road trip, going 0-2 against the Wings and Sky. They need to get a win badly to hold down 4th spot because luckily the Aces beat the Sky yesterday which gave them a little buffer. Lynx though also needing a win because they want a home game for Round 1. Just the one game so far between the two, Sparks winning 89-85 in Minnesota. No injuries as yet, the line should be Sparks -5 and total of 155.
BOL everyone, I wait peacefully for these lines to come out

Nice, we have some early lines for onceLiberty @ Fever: Fever -4.5 and 156 totalSky @ Dream: Sky -4.5 and 160.5 totalMercury @ Aces: Aces -6.4 and 161.5 totalLynx @ Sparks: Sparks -6.5 and 153 total
Hey Oz, you’re spot on with the up coming lines.
Win, lose, or draw I always search for your insight. Thanks again.
So far it’s been a tough season for me capping WNBA. Maybe with the injuries and players playing overseas it’s really hard to find consistency as a whole in this league. If you think about it the top 10 players in the league last year I’d say maybe 2 played the whole year this year. Delle Done will be league MVP and take home the Chip. I think all of the lower seeded teams will win 1st round then fold in the later rounds. Then again it could be the exact opposite. Aces could make some noise, but I think Bill Laimbeer sucks as a coach. As a player he was ahead of his time.
gl the rest of the season mate!

haha you have to enjoy a few drinks every now and then mate. Haven't seen you in these forums for a while, where have you been hiding? Thanks for the compliments Imsoti.
Agree with you, its EDD's season for both MVP and finally winning the championship. She won't get a better time to do it with so many key role players out of almost every single team.
GL mate and hope you are able to turn you season around.

For anyone who is going to play the Liberty @ Fever game. Durr and Zahui B are both out again.
Lol, that did not stop me from playing New York... again...
You have massive balls Casey. Good news at least, Zahui B has been cleared to play now. Dupree is a GTD.
Even stranger news, Angel has announced on Twitter that she will play in the final game of the season for the Dream. Why? Seems so pointless. Maybe its her last game in their jersey and wanted to show the fans before she moves somewhere else next season.

Both have been pretty bad with their defense of late and although we used to see some low scoring battles between these 2, that was when Agler was coach and not Mr Fisher. Reeve needs her team to attack and drive to the basket vs LA as they seem to give a lot of fouls in the paint, especially Chiney when she plays. The last meeting flew over, hit 173 points and I don't think we see the same high scoring game like that but I do think we see this game hit between 158-164 points.

Not today.. The Sparks scored zero buckets (excluding free throws) for almost 7 mins between the 3Q and 4Q. Horrendous display by them. An over is never go to hit with that kind of performance from a team.
See you guys all on Friday.
