The Sky have been impressive lately bringing down teams such as the Aces, Sparks and Mystics. Great start. The Wings have only really put away poor teams so far with their wins coming against Liberty and Fever. This is a big game for the Wings if they want to be considered for a playoff spot. They need to prove they can beat the better teams in this league and I think they can keep this game close

Even though they won biggish tonite they let CON in game till Mid 3rd q seems they don’t really have a game plan and they don’t get the ball to Steele enough and when they do she has Messeman disease. Shoot the damn ball girl. They really don’t have a guard that can win the whole thing. Canada is hot as hell but plays out of control sometime. Bird is too old now I feel and whatever happened to Loyd? And that coach? Bothers me. He sits in the back there and I don’t think does much. WSH is now tough and may be as good as last year right now. If they only had TC even more so than EDD I feel.

Agree Joe... Stewie needs to be more aggressive on offence. She definitely has all the skills to do it, just complacent at times. Maybe the Achilles injury has done that to her mentally. I still think the Mystics regress especially as we get towards the back end of the season. They will be top 8 no doubt but I feel as though they are thin and that will catch up with them. One annoyance that I found today is that Agler kept pulling Gray out of the game and she barely played 15 mins yet was playing so well. He has too much faith in Agunbowale and when you look at her stats, she is the third worst player on the Wings team when you look at all their PER’s. She took 1/3 of the teams shots today and when they got to within 2-3 points of the Sky, rather than take the lower risk option of just going for a 2 point shot and hopefully getting another stop, she just kept jacking up 3’s which the majority of them were poor shots.
This season is definitely anyone’s, well at least Storm, Aces, Mystics, Sky, Sparks and the Lynx.
Wings, Fever and the Mercury will fight it out for the playoffs spot whilst the Sun, Liberty and the Dream can fight for draft picks.
