Most teams have 5-6 games left apart from the Mystics who have 7. We have 11 days of regular season left and with that win last night by the Dream, they keep their playoff hopes alive as they are now 4-13 with 5 to go and the Wings who are 8th are 6-10 with 6 to go.
Mercury playing good ball at the right time as usual. They always seem to show up towards the end of season. They are now 6th with a 10-7 record and Sky are in 5th with a 11-6 record and Lynx in 4th with a 11-5 record. Sky and Lynx do play today so Mercury have a very good chance of over-taking one of those teams as they play the Fever, Liberty and Sun this week. Pretty good schedule and if they can win all those 3 games, that would give them a 13-7 record heading into the final week.
Sky vs Lynx
Sky are gassed, they have to be running on nothing right now. Lynx played a great game vs the Sparks who just gave up after that crazy run the Lynx had but this will be the Lynx's 3rd in 4 nights as that game vs the Sparks was a B2B. For the Lynx, there are no new injuries and for the Sky, the should have Mavunga availabl after they traded Lavender to the Fever and they picked up Mavunga. No Stevens or DeShields as they have both left the bubble.
Sparks vs Wings
No Nneka for the Sparks and Arike for the Wings is a GTD. This will also be the Sparks's 3rd game in 4 nights and they were pretty bad vs the Lynx. Sparks have to be careful because the Lynx and Sky aren't far behind them and they also face the Storm after this game so this is a must win game. Even without Arike the Wings should be tough with Mabrey and Sabally playing so well. Agler knows this Sparks team very well. I am seeing Wings +8.5 right now but its definitely worth waiting out to see if the line increases if Arike is ruled out.
Storm vs Mystics
Bird is going to play as a "warm up" for the following game against the Sparks. For me, its either the Storm or no play. Some big revenge on the cards as well as the Mystics humiliated the Storm last game with an easy win whilst the Storm were laying -7.5. It gets worse for the Mystics, with Stella Johnson possibly ruled out for the season. So they will be going into this game with 9 players. Storm appear to be healthy apart from Tuck and if the Storm wins this game, they will have 14-3 record whilst 2nd spot Aces have a 12-4 record. Seeing Storm -12.5 right now.
