Too many players out for Merc. If I lose this it because Vegas is dysfunctional and that is possible. On the Flip side Diggins Smith is not a good defender and they are going to need to control Vegas on Offense. Griner has to be big tonight. She leads the team in fouls, if she is too aggressive that leaves the bench even in more trouble.
Brianna Turner is the Merc player that has to do more. She is hitting over 61 fg% so if the ball comes her way she has to kock em down. I don't see her maintaining this high % because she is going to get the ball in less than ideal situations with Taurassi off the court. She will have to be assertive.
Vegas is Vegas I don't need to go to far into what or who they are. If Cambage plays hard its a wipe out if not its probably a lot closer then it should be.
Maybe Aja can shoulder the load.
Hamby and Young were 0-5 from 3 pt land last game and in the 97 point blowout against the Sparks the game before last Vegas only shot 4-14 from 3 land. On the season, combined these ladies are 2 of 14 from 3.
Lots of ways for Vegas to come up short here but the Injuries should play havoc for the Mercs depleted bench.
