Why so much love for Atlanta tonight?

I know they have to eventually win a game but my god this team looked like complete shit against Phoenix that played the full game without Pondexter. They played absolutely zero defense this season and in the last game it was basically a lay up drill for their opponent. They had a couple of close games against Connecticut and Detroit where they managed to hit a lot of three balls. Houston has been playing very good of late even with out Thompson.

Helmut. Take out the one PHX game and ATL has started to piece it together. Hou needs to grab a lead early to win this one

I cant see putting money on anything but the over with Atl.they are not very good.

houston has been winning... atlanta has been losing big... but the line was set this low. vegas knows even at -8 houston will get pounded tonight but why just 4. maybe a reverse thing but who knows atlanta is very inconsistent. gluck!
 
also 25% of love only for atlanta.

Got to love Atlanta tonight.  Their best chance until now to win their first game.

A very close game IMO where I can see them winning or losing by little.

  gotta root for them to win one soon because they do fight but i would have a hard time putting my money on it

Atlanta is a long way from piecing it together, until they play some semblence of defense. When a team loses this many in a row, the last thing said in the opposing locker room is "we arent going to be the first team to lose to them"...

My thoughts as well... other teams are aware that Atlanta is winless, would not like to be the first team to lose to them.  Best chance for Atlanta to win first game is against the Chicago Sky on Sat.

Yeah but they did open up at -6. That is still lower then last week when they opened up at -3 and then went to -10.5 before game time. Atlanta still covered then, I think vegas is tricking everyone tonight, I lean Atlanta but like everyone else it is hard to put my money on them.

You simply cannot bet on a team that you think is "due". You have to see them play both a good offensive game and defensive as well. See it with your eyes...

basically hou is just up 3.5 points so its possible still though with what im seeing... ML is hou which is not yet even locked.
