So the news out of Washington is that Toliver will play tomorrow but most likely on a minutes restriction. Not entirely sure if she will start or come off the bench but I think Thibault is a smart coach and should have her coming off the bench to ease her back into the basketball grind. I have no lines as yet, thought I would by. The WNBA paid for the Aces and Sparks to fly to Connecticut and Washington via chartered flights which I thought was a great gesture because otherwise, the Sparks especially would have had a full day of traveling apparently just to get to Mohegan Court which is not the kind or preparation you want.
These are just my estimations,
Sparks @ Sun: Sun -4 and 163 total
Aces @ Mystics: Mystics -4.5 and 167 total.
The 4 elimination games all went over their totals, which was crazy considering the Sky games were in the 170's. Don't think that happens as often in this series, as this is when we see those defensive teams shows up IMHO.
BOL everyone, I have my leans but just waiting for the lines.

Welcome to the playoffs Mr Fisher. What I mean by that is, this is his first road game as a coach in a league where home court is so valuable and looking at the standings, no team other than Washington had a 500% win percent on the road. In saying that though, it is tough to back the Sun in this game because they have had their playoff issues over the past with two straight exits against a very experienced Mercury team in 2017 and 2018 in those single elimination games. I don't like the Sun's bench, with Holmes only being the one that seems to shine some light most games but she lacks experience as well. Then you have Tuck, Heideman and Brionna Jones and Banham, I am not sure about Plaisance yet for this game. The line is too short for me to take a team as I don't know how the Sparks will handle a decent team because they haven't beaten a 500+ team on the road since June 8th when they beat the Lynx 89-85. Now that is surprising. Their only road wins this season were against Lynx, Mercury, Fever and Dream x2. I need to see something in them in this game to show me they are up for the challenge. I do believe they can steal one game in this series on the road but not sure which one that game is.
The tempo should definitely be in this game like the others we have seen so far. The Sparks haven't allowed more than 75 points in their last 4 games, but those 4 games have been at Staples Center. On the road, they have allowed, 84, 91, 95, 83 and 92 in their last 5 roadies. Not the kind of road defense you want to bring to a game #1.

Oz any thoughts on that line in Wash.,I was thinking 10 LV might be a better play but 3.5 points is a big jump,I have over on Conn.,but also took them -1.5,might be a trick as it is way low as you said but I fell for it,lol.

Real busy today with work, didn't get a chance to get onto covers.
What a day of WNBA.
My play didn't hit, missed out by 3 points. A lot of terrible free throw shooting in that game by the looks of it.
Aces up 57-50 into halftime, came out flat and the Mystics exploited that. Mystics up as much as 14 at one stage then allowed Aces back into the game and ended up winning by 2. But once again, home court prevails. 6-0 S/U now in the post-season so far. Very hard to win on the road in this league during post-season
Girls get a day of rest and then back at it again on Thursday.
The Sparks return game for game 3 in LA isn't going to be at Staples center either, its being played at a different arena, where they play some of their pre-season games.
