Won't be making a play on that early Mercury @ Storm game with so many ins and outs. Posted on Indigo's thread, the Mercury are missing Taurasi, Sancho and Camille Little whilst the Storm are missing Stewart, Bird, Whitcomb and Clark. Who knows how that game is going to turn out. Mercury just 23-23 since 2013 when DT misses a game and there are 4 rookies in their 8 available players for the game so it is risky if you do play it.
Late lines once again, I really hope Vegas doesnt do this every night/day because for me here in Oz, the lines aren't released until 12am unfortunately.
EDD has been ruled out for the Mystics but Meesseman has been in impressive form during her time away from the WNBA. Their starting 5 should be, Meesseman, Toliver, Atkins, Cloud and Sanders with a decent looking bench as well so missing EDD will be a loss but feel as though Thibault may have it covered this season due to EDD always unhealthy and missing games.
Sun kept 9 players from last season and for me, trading Chiney was a great move by the organisation. In 2017, Jonquel Jones played an average of 28.5 mins due to Chiney being out. Last season, those minutes dropped dramatically to 20.5 and there is no denying that she needs to be on the court for around 28-30 mins per game because when she is on the court, the Sun do very well on both ends of the court. Her PER is actually in 6th in the league right now behind, EDD is first at 28.1, Cambage second at 27.4, Nneka at 25.8, Parker 25.7, Fowles 25.6 and Jones 25.4.
Other game is the Lynx vs the Sky. Lynx missing Augustus and also by the looks of it Christmas-Kelly whilst the Sky are missing Faulkner for 3-4 weeks. Sky new coach, Lynx a coach that has been cemented for years now. Sky did not look good at all in pre-season but i think thats just pre-season action. Gotta see the line first but their has been a big emphasis on the Sky trying to improve their defense as it was the worst in the league last season.
