The Super Bowl is one of the few days where even casual bettors look to get in on the action. And with that, BetMGM unveiled a newly designed app in the state of Nevada with the hopes of improving the experience for customers and those picking a sportsbook to bet with.

Las Vegas, Nevada is hosting the big game and analysts estimate that Nevada will beat out New York, New Jersey, and other legal betting states in handle. MGM has nine retail sportsbooks on the Vegas Strip and since new bettors in the Silver State must register in person to bet online, it’s a logical place to try to beat the competition. But it’s not just Nevada, with sports betting spreading across the U.S. this will be a record-breaking Super Bowl for handle.

"As the world's biggest sporting event arrives in Las Vegas this week, it is the ideal moment to introduce Nevada to our premier mobile sports betting app," explained BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt.

What's new in the app?

While the look of the app may not seem different, there are more options for bettors. The new features include an expanded list of pre-game and in-game options. The vast majority of wagers are in football, basketball, baseball, and hockey. Now BetMGM will have more prop bets, live bets, and others.

BetMGM now joins the other sportsbooks in offering a Same-Game Parlay+, combining multiple SGPs into one super parlay.

The app now has new deposit and withdrawal options and is connected to BetMGM Rewards. Customers can earn BetMGM Rewards points and credits with every bet placed in Nevada.

"Nevada attracts people from around the world and is home to an incredibly knowledgeable sports fan base. It is vital to provide them with a superior product, and we are thrilled to do that with this launch," said Greenblatt.
