The NFL playoffs are a magnet for sports wagering and for contests, and a couple days before the conference championship games, bet365 announced a new opportunity for their customers.

In a partnership with Scout Gaming Group, bet365 is now offering “Daily Lineups” a free-to-play fantasy contest. But it's not just NFL games, there are options for games in all of the major sports.

Contest overview

The NFL games this weekend will be a big draw for Daily Lineups, and in anticipation, bet365 made the prize pool $25,000 for each game.

Those who enter have a $50,000 fantasy budget to pick players and can designate one player a captain who receives 1.5 times the points. Customers will compete against others based on the real-world performances of the players on their teams.

The first-place finisher will receive $2,500 and anyone in the top 2,000 will get a payout, although only the top 50 would get cash, the other 1,950 receive bonus bets.

“We are excited to partner with Scout Gaming Group, a veteran leader in fantasy sports. Their robust range of technologies, products and services will play an instrumental role as we expand our fantastic free-to-play “Daily Lineups” for our eligible bet365 customers,” a bet365 spokesperson said in a release.

These contests are now live in Virginia, Ohio, Colorado, Louisiana, and New Jersey, and there is an expectation that they will expand to more states. This comes after bet365 launched in Louisiana in November.

“We’ve now brought to market, fully localized, and highly competitive free-to-play product in a region where there is considerable competition, a massive market and even more opportunities for innovative fantasy sports providers and operators,” said Niklas Jönsson, CEO of Scout Gaming Group.
