Big as the what? Big as the Super Bowl.

Hip-hop superstar and avid gambler Drake made the biggest bet on Super Bowl LVIII to date, when he posted Saturday on Instagram that he staked $1.15 million on the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the San Francisco 49ers on Super Bowl Sunday.

Drizzy even provided an explanation for his position.

"I can't bet against the Swifties," Drake wrote in his Instagram caption.

So, the Chiefs will have the support of two of the music industry's biggest stars. Taylor Swift plans to fly from her concert tour in Japan to Las Vegas to attend the game in support of her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Drake's $1.15 million bet at +104 odds would net a win of $1.196 million and a total payout of $2.346 million.

With the Super Bowl in Las Vegas for the first time, big bets have been highly anticipated, but Drake's bet is the first to top $1 million to this point. Previously, the biggest Super Bowl bet was $1 million on the 49ers at -120 odds, made on Jan. 30.

No stranger to a friendly wager

Drake's big bets have been well documented. He had seven bets total on Super Bowl LVII between the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, including a $700,000 wager on Kansas City to win. The Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35. He also bet $1.1 million on the Chiefs to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship that season.

The year prior, he bet $472,000 on the Los Angeles Rams to win Super Bowl LVI over the Bengals and also scored on his $393,000 bet on Rams wideout Odell Beckham Jr. to record a touchdown in the game.

Drake is looking to put the "Drake Curse" to rest and make it a third straight year in which he cashed on a correct Super Bowl champion bet.
