FanDuel Casino has announced it will exclusively launch Light & Wonder's slot game Huff N' More Puff.

The online casino game will be released on Feb. 4, launching in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, Ontario, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

The deal combines one of America’s favorite slot games with one of the industry’s leading online casinos. The new slot features a wolf character that blows down houses, unveiling prizes and rewards behind every house that players can subsequently trade for real money.

“The Huff N' Puff family of slots is one of the most popular slot series on the casino floor, and we are excited to bring it exclusively to FanDuel Casino customers. Offering our players beloved and exclusive games is a top priority for us, and bringing Huff N' Puff to FanDuel Casino helps us continue to grow our iGaming product while offering our players more ways to win,” said Ian O'Reilly, FanDuel Casino Product Senior Director.

FanDuel Casino Continues to Expand Exclusive Slot Library

The release of Huff N' More Puff comes after FanDuel Casino recently moved to expand its iGaming product offering. The company launched the NBA Super Slam in December, a slot game based on the NBA sports league and features the league’s branding.

Developed by the White Hat Studios development team, NBA Super Slam went live in Michigan, New Jersey, Ontario, and Pennsylvania.

This NBA-themed slot allows the player to choose their favorite team's branding, which then customizes the visual feel of the game through team logos, arenas, and court designs. The buy-ins for the game range from $0.10 to $20 per play.

FanDuel also signed up former NBA player Chandler Parsons to promote the NBA Super Slam game. Parsons was the 38th-overall draft pick by the Houston Rockets in the 2011 NBA draft and played for multiple teams, including the Atlanta Hawks. He is now the co-host of the Run It Back NBA show on FanDuel TV and was one of the headliners in the marketing campaign for the new slot game.

Exclusive Games and Celebrity Branding Sign of an Industry Shift?

FanDuel's move into co-branded and exclusive slot games comes as sports entertainment consumers' behaviors change. Linear television ratings for the 2024-25 season are down, but the league signed a record-setting $76 billion broadcast contract with Amazon, Comcast, and Disney.

This indicates that digital engagement and streaming options are increasingly the focal points of leagues and operators in their search for audiences. FanDuel's efforts have supported this, including bringing back the Super Bowl Kick of Destiny promo with former NFL player Rob Gronkowski in January 2024. FanDuel heavily marketed the promo through social media and FanDuel TV.
