GeoComply has unveiled a leadership change by hiring Kip Levin as CEO on March 4.
Levin has more than 20 years of executive experience at top digital and technology companies, including FanDuel and Ticketmaster.
Levin's appointment is part of a broader strategic move within the geolocation and compliance technology firm's executive team. Co-founder Anna Sainsbury will assume the role of Executive Chairman, and co-founder David Briggs will refocus on Product and Innovation.
Levin has a history of top leadership roles in companies at the forefront of the digital revolution. His most recent role was as Strategic Advisor at FanDuel, but he previously served as CEO of FanDuel's U.S. business, where he was a member of the branding company's rapid expansion in the intensely competitive online gaming and sports betting industries.
Prior to joining FanDuel, Levin was a Ticketmaster veteran for more than a decade, serving as Senior VP of Product and Digital. There, he managed Ticketmaster's product direction, eCommerce businesses, and growth of its mobile and resale businesses.
GeoComply's leadership restructuring is intended to enhance its ability to predict and react to the evolving regulatory and technology needs of its sector. The firm is at the forefront of facilitating compliance with jurisdictional needs, preventing fraud, and providing secure transactions for online gaming operators, fintech companies, and other online entities.
As the legalization of Internet-based gaming continues to expand in the U.S and globally, GeoComply's technology remains at the forefront of authenticating users' locations and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Leading the Way for a New Era for GeoComply
Levin's recruitment as CEO coincides with GeoComply's push to define existing and emerging markets further. There is growing demand for geolocation and compliance services as global online gaming and electronic transactions take greater importance, and his recruitment is timely to allow GeoComply leadership to reposition their resources.
In her position as Executive Chairman of GeoComply, Sainsbury will remain engaged in influencing the company's long-term direction while passing on day-to-day duties to Levin.
Briggs will also focus on Product and Innovation. With a background in developing and delivering compliance-driven technology solutions, he will continue to lead the development and expansion of GeoComply's products.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kip Levin to GeoComply,” said Sainsbury. “His extensive experience and strategic vision are perfectly aligned with our commitment to delivering exceptional value to our customers. I am confident that under his leadership, GeoComply will continue to innovate and expand its global footprint, ensuring we remain at the forefront of geolocation security and fraud prevention. This transition enables me to dedicate more time to our long-term strategic direction, focusing on how we can better serve our partners.”
