● Video Poker is the latest addition to IGT’s coveted Wheel of Fortune brand, which has supplied casino guests since 1996.

The new game boasts an exciting mix of video poker and Wheel of Fortune visuals and features, including the gameshow’s staple ‘Wheel Bonus’ partnered with various puzzle-solving features reminiscent of the original program.

"Becoming the first casino in the world to offer IGT's Wheel of Fortune Video Poker was an exciting moment for Downtown Grand and one that generated palpable buzz and significant play on our gaming floor," said Rick Coltor, slots manager at the Downtown Grand Las Vegas. "For decades, our players have enjoyed IGT video poker and Wheel of Fortune slots, so combining the DNA of those two products to create something new is an exciting proposition for our players."

The video poker game will be available on the CrystalCurve cabinet at Downtown Grand, letting users play triple-play, five-play, and 10-play configurations and win up to 100,000 credits through a dealt royal flush.

IGT President of Global Gaming Nick Khin expressed his enthusiasm for the game’s global release, noting it was a significant milestone for IGT, which delivered Wheel of Fortune games since 1996.

Wheel of Fortune makes online gaming debut

In 2023, IGT signed a 10-year licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Television, granting IGT the rights to debut the Wheel of Fortune brand across gaming, lottery, iGaming, and iLottery markets.

In partnership with BetMGM, IGT launched the Wheel of Fortune Online Casino in New Jersey, offering an array of Wheel of Fortune-branded online casino games to Garden State players.

Following its subsequent success in New Jersey, the online casino debuted in Ontario’s regulated market a year later, offering a range of branded slots to Canadian players, including Wheel of Fortune Megaways and Wheel of Fortune Power Wedges.

"Bringing Wheel of Fortune Casino to Ontario is a part of our strategy to give players the games they love and create an engaging experience with an iconic game show,” said Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer of BetMGM. “In collaboration with Sony Pictures Television and IGT, we’ve created something that is unlike anything else in the online gaming sector.”
