Address: Huron Avenue & Brigantine Boulevard, Atlantic City, NJ 08401
Phone number: 609-441-2000

The Sportsbook at Golden Nugget Atlantic City is a comfortable 2,500-square-foot space that is located just off the Main Atrium and next to Michael Patrick’s Brasserie.  The Golden Nugget took its first wager on Aug. 15, 2018, and opened its permanent sportsbook on Aug. 31. Poker players will recognize the sportsbook location as the former poker room.

With a TV or screen placed on pretty much every possible inch of wall space, the Golden Nugget is definitely one of the better places in Atlantic City to watch a game. There are five huge screens that make up the main viewing areas in the book and each one is surrounded by multiple smaller screens. There are also dozens of TVs hanging from the ceiling, ensuring you’ll have a great view of whatever game you’re trying to watch.

The sportsbook has seating for around 100 people. There are 12 large lounge-style chairs facing the main video wall with two large screens. There is also another section that features two rows of booths that face another video wall. The rest of the seating is made up of high-top tables and chairs.

The Golden Nugget has three regular betting windows and one high-limit window. There are also 11 self-serve terminals located in the sportsbook and throughout the casino property. These kiosks are incredibly easy to use: simply put in your cash, use the touchscreen to enter your bet(s), and wait for your ticket to print.

Food and drink are available at the sportsbook through Michael Patrick’s Brasserie which is located directly next door. The sportsbook menu consists of casual bar food: nachos, sliders, fried food, and pizza. We recommend trying the wings, which won the best wing sauce award at the South Jersey Wing Wars of 2019 contest. There is also a full bar available and daily drink specials.

One thing to note before visiting the Golden Nugget Atlantic City: the sportsbook does not take bets on the NBA. This is because the owner of the Golden Nugget, Tilman Fertitta, also owns the Houston Rockets.

Does the Golden Nugget Atlantic City have an online app?

Yes. Bettors can place wagers online anywhere in the state of New Jersey via the Golden Nugget Online Sportsbook. New customers can take advantage of a $50 risk-free sports bet upon sign up.

What are the hours of operation?

  • Monday - Sunday: 10 am - 12 am

How to get free drinks at the sportsbook?

The Golden Nugget offers a free drink ticket when a bettor places a $100 sports wager.

How old do you need to be to enter the sportsbook?

As with all sportsbooks in New Jersey, bettors must be 21 years of age or older.

How do you make a bet at the sportsbook?

There are three ways to make a sports bet at the sportsbook:

  • At the betting window. Be sure to have the rotation number of the bet you want to make before getting to the window.
  • At a self kiosk. These are very easy to use and function similarly to an online sportsbook. Just put your cash in, choose your bet, and wait for your ticket to be printed.
  • Online. Sign up for the Golden Nugget Online Sportsbook and make bets without having to leave your seat!
