The William Hill Sportsbook at Harrah’s Atlantic City (formerly The Book at Harrah's) took its first bets on Aug. 1, 2018, at a temporary sportsbook, just two days after its sister property, It has since opened a temporary betting location that isn't the biggest sportsbook in Atlantic City but is certainly one of the nicest.
The sportsbook is located on the main casino floor. When entering the casino from the main doors, make your way to the back right of the casino and you’ll find the sportsbook next to McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant and adjacent to the Poker Room.
There is a small betting counter to the left side of the sportsbook as you approach. There are four live teller windows as well as a high-limits window. Next to the betting windows, in place of where the temporary sportsbook used to be, are two Fan Caves. These are VIP areas that can be booked in advance and can each seat up to 10 people. Table service is available and customers have the ability to choose which games they want to watch on their own screen or even to play video games.
The main part of the sportsbook is just to the right of the Fan Caves. Bar-style tables and chairs line the casino hall and behind those is a drink rail with slot games and with seating for around two dozen.
The main area of the new sportsbook features a large, high-quality LED screen along the back wall that has the ability to show multiple games at once. There are also four screens dedicated to showing real-time odds on the left wall. The main seating area consists of extra-plush stadium-style lounge chairs that all face the video wall. Each lounge chair features a cup holder and a rotating table-top so bettors can take notes. This is certainly a very comfortable place to watch the games you bet on.
There isn’t a bar in the sportsbook itself but casino servers will be in the area to keep thirsty bettors quenched. Food and drink is also available through AC Burger Company — we recommend trying the Green Chili Burger and some boozy milkshakes.
The William Hill Sportsbook at Harrah’s Resort is a very good option for sports bettors in Atlantic City. It isn't a huge sportsbook with screens that rival iMax theaters, but it's certainly a great option in the Marina District of town.

Harrah’s is a Caesars property and in Atlantic City, Caesars gives out a free drink ticket for a $50 bet. There is a maximum of two free drink tickets per day per bettor. As always, tipping your ticket writer might increase your chances of getting a drink ticket.
There are also free drinks available on the casino floor, so someone in search of a free drink could go put a few dollars into a slot machine, order a drink, and then bring it into the sportsbook.
