Thanks to some key additions on the ice, the Ottawa Senators will be returning to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2017.
Off the ice, however, the Senators have also made some big moves, including their latest partnership with Soft2Bet’s ToonieBet as their official online casino partner.
The news, announced Thursday, will see ToonieBet provide fans with exclusive giveaways, premium entertainment, and a “casino experience that mirrors that team’s energy and excitement,” according to the release.
"Partnering Soft2Bet's ToonieBet brand with the Ottawa Senators is a significant milestone that reinforces our strong brand presence in Ontario,” said Oksana Tsyhankova, chief marketing officer at Soft2Bet. “In a short period, we have achieved impressive performance and retention results, primarily focusing on localized, engaging experiences for Canadian players, which makes ToonieBet truly set itself apart."
That note, on Soft2Bet’s prominence as a growing online casino in Ontario, was echoed by the Ottawa Senators, who expressed excitement with the prospect of expanding their brand strength in the province.

Launched in 2024, Tooniebet's time as an online casino in Canada is relatively fresh, however, the Soft2Bet property has already emerged as a rapidly growing brand within the space.
“Tooniebet is one of the world's fastest growing iGaming turnkey solutions providers with iGaming brands around the world with a portfolio of 19 global licenses, including Ontario,” read the release.
In addition to enhanced fan engagement, the ToonieBet partnership is expected to provide a host of other perks for both club, brand, and Canadian Tire Centre patrons.
That will include in-arena and broadcast branding, in-rink board signage, virtual slot signage, social contests and promotions hosted through Senators digital platforms, and even a digital inventory throughout the Ottawa Senators site at NHL.com.
"We are thrilled to welcome ToonieBet as an official partner of the Ottawa Senators,” Martin Ballard, VP of corporate partnership for the Ottawa Senators said. “Cooperating with a brand that shares our commitment to providing fans with an exceptional and trusted experience is incredibly exciting.
“Together, we look forward to delivering memorable moments and engaging our passionate fanbase in new and innovative ways."
