ECL Entertainment, the company behind a new proposed charitable gaming casino in Nashua, New Hampshire, has revealed details on the upcoming project.
Formerly referred to as "The Mint" during the permitting process, the charitable gambling facility being built at the shuttered Sears at the Pheasant Land Mall will officially be called The Nash Casino when it opens this winter.
The new two-story venue will cover 180,000 square feet, 130,000 of which will be dedicated to the charitable gaming venue. Visitors will find over 60 table games, 1,200 slots, and historic horse racing machines.
Plans reveal the potential to add another 300 slot machines in the future. There will also be three restaurants.
Interior work on the venue is currently underway, with an employment information center expected to open later this summer at the nearby Target.
Construction is expected to cost $250 million and generate $24 million annually for local charities.
“Our goal is to create a vibrant space that not only provides top-notch entertainment and drives economic growth in the region but also significantly supports the greater Nashua community through charitable contributions,” said managing partner of ECL Entertainment Marc Falcone.
The Nash Casino isn’t the only gaming construction in New Hampshire, with a lawsuit against State Senator Andy Sanborn's proposed casino project in Concord recently being rejected.
