A micro-betting technology company is expanding its reach in the legal sports betting market.
Simplebet has secured a partnership with ClutchBet — a sportsbook that has online betting sites in Colorado and Iowa. As part of the deal, Simplebet will provide online users of ClutchBet in Colorado and Iowa with its micro-betting products across multiple sports. The company has also secured market access in Louisiana and Indiana but has yet to go live with wagering.
Simplebet will provide ClutchBet with micro-betting markets for the NFL, MLB, and MLB. The company will also offer in-game betting opportunities for college football and college basketball.
“ClutchBet is committed to delivering the most innovative betting experience, and we’re excited to offer ClutchBet players in Iowa and Colorado the opportunity to more deeply engage with their favorite teams and players both locally and worldwide,” said ClutchBet SVP of Operations Jake Francis in a statement.
ClutchBet, which offers only online wagering, provides Simplebet with a broader reach.
ClutchBet is a subsidiary of BlueBet — an Australian bookmaker and online gambling operator — and the sportsbook plans to aggressively gain access to more markets across America. ClutchBet made its U.S. debut in 2022 with the launch of operations in Iowa — its 18th operator.
On a roll
In May, Simplebet agreed to a multi-state partnership with Hard Rock Digital, which owns and operates the Hard Rock Sportsbook. Similar to its deal with ClutchBet, Simplebet will provide Hard Rock Sportsbook users with micro-betting markets. The sportsbook, which launched in 2022, currently has online wagering licenses in Indiana, Iowa, Arizona, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia. It most recently went live in Ohio, which legalized betting on Jan. 1.
Simplebet’s deal with ClutchBet will add to already impressive results. During the 2022 NFL postseason, Simplebet processed roughly 3.7 million bets — a 150% increase year-over-year.
