Favorites to win the Indy 500

Scott Dixon (+800)

The six-time IndyCar Series champion, Scott Dixon, is one of three guys atop the board at +800.

He currently sits fifth in this year's points standings with a couple of Top-5 finishes to his name. Finished 17th in last year's edition but took the checkered flag at this race back in 2008.

Josef Newgarden (+800)

Newgarden finished just outside of the Top 10 in last year's Indy 500 (his best finish is fourth in 2018), but the two-time IndyCar Series winner has already notched wins at the XPEL 375 and Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach to start his season strong.

Alex Palou (+800)

Last year's IndyCar Series champ, Alex Palou, rounds out the trio of guys at +800.

While without a win in 2022, the 25-year-old has three Top-5 showings among four Top 10s under his belt and as such, should always be considered a serious threat. .
