We’ve got 15 games on today’s MLB betting slate, including a matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has experienced immense success in Baltimore throughout his career and has dominated O’s starter Cade Povich in his two career starts against Toronto. My Blue Jays predictions expect that to continue today.

Find out why with my MLB picks for this April 13 matchup.

Blue Jays predictions for April 13

Today’s Blue Jays best bet: Big bat Vladdy!

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases (+110 at BetVictor)

We’ve got one more game to wrap up this AL East divisional series between the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles. Toronto sends Jose Berrios to the mound in the finale, while the O's send youngster Cade Povich to the hill.

Povich is 0-1 through two starts, allowing 17 hits despite a respectable 3.58 ERA. He’s had some luck, as his expected ERA is 5.46 with an expected batting average of .326. Therefore, we should see some regression to the mean, and perhaps it begins tonight against a team that has hit him hard and often in the past.

In Povich’s two starts against Toronto, he’s 0-2, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 9 2/3 innings pitched, with six of those hits being of the extra-base variety.

One of the Jays that caused the most damage in those two games was Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who's 4-for-5 with a home run and two doubles against Povich, totaling nine total bases in those at-bats.

Vladdy has yet to hit a home run, but he’s been hitting the ball hard. He ranks in the 85th percentile in hard-hit rate this season despite just four extra-base hits. He’s coming off a game where he went 2-for-4 with three bags collected. This was the sixth time he's hit that number in his last nine outings.

This type of power and bat speed will eventually allow Guerrero to mash baseballs for more extra-base hits. Plus, with the Jays slugger coming off a game in which he made a few mental errors in the infield, I expect Vladdy to make it up with his bat this afternoon.

Today’s Blue Jays same-game parlay (SGP)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases

Bo Bichette Over 0.5 hits

Cade Povich Over 1.5 earned runs

We’ll stick with the best bet and take Vladdy to go Over 1.5 total bases this afternoon. Next up, I'll continue to fade lefty Cade Povich and take the Over on his earned run total set at 1.5. Povich has given up 17 hits and allowed seven runs through his first two starts, and he gave up nine runs through two starts against Toronto last season.

Additionally, Toronto’s .400 OBP and .275 batting average against lefties rank first and second, respectively, in the majors. For the final leg, I’ll continue to ride Bo Bichette’s hot bat and take him to go Over 0.5 hits. Bichette has a .313 average and has at least one hit in four of his last five games. He also has a career OPS of 1.058 at Camden Yards, totaling 51 hits in 32 games in Baltimore.
