It’s a busy Saturday in Major League Baseball, with 16 games on the slate, which gives you a bevy of options to consider when building your betting ticket.

We’ve scoured through the MLB player props and have settled in on three wagers definitely worth considering.

Check out these free MLB picks for July 27 below, beginning with a familiar AL East rivalry in Beantown.

MLB props for July 27

Today’s best MLB props

Prop bet #1: Stroman Under 3.5 strikeouts

After going 3-1 in May with a microscopic 1.67 ERA, Yankees starter Marcus Stroman has hit a wall so far in the summer.

The veteran righty is just 2-3 in eight starts since June 6, with an ERA hovering around 5.00 over that stretch, a number that was lowered only thanks to a pair of starts against the light-hitting Tampa Bay Rays his last two outings.

Stroman is facing a Boston team that already shelled him earlier this year, chasing him after five innings, drilling him for seven hits, four earned runs and four walks.

Stroman could also only muster three strikeouts and has gone Under his set total of 3.5 K’s six times in his last nine outings.

He’s also failed to touch four strikeouts in three straight starts against the Red Sox.

Boston is a Top-3 hitting team with a .258 average, and has the potential to do a bunch of batting around Saturday.

Marcus Stroman prop: Under 3.5 strikeouts (+165 at DraftKings)

Prop bet #2: Alonso Over 1.5 hits+runs+RBI

For a second straight game, Mets first baseman Pete Alonso was held hitless against the Braves.

It isn’t that big a deal for now, as New York has been balling, ripping off its fifth straight win and moving past Atlanta into second in the NL East.

We’re betting on a bounce-back here, as Alonso was smoking heading into this set, collecting hits in nine of his previous 12 games, scoring eight runs, with two home runs and five RBI.

He’ll be facing off with rookie righty Spencer Schwellenback for the first time, and the rook is coming off a pasting at the hands of the Cardinals, surrendering seven hits and four earned runs, including three home runs.

Alonso is hitting .320 against the Braves this year, with eight hits in 25 at-bats, with four runs scored and six RBI.

He also hasn't gone hitless in a series since a 4-game set against the Cubs back at the end of April.

Pete Alonso prop: Over 1.5 hits+runs+RBI (-105 at DraftKings)

Prop bet #3: Civale Over 1.5 walks

He might be in some new digs, but Aaron Civale is still struggling.

Since being acquired by the Milwaukee Brewers, the ex-Rays righty has failed to acquit himself in the rotation.

He lasted just 4 1/3 innings last time out against the Twins, surrendering two more home runs to bring his total long balls allowed to 21 on the year. Only the Brewers bats prevented a third straight loss when he was on the mound.

When he’s not serving up taters, his control is shot. Civale allowed four walks against the Twins, and he’s issued at least two free passes in four straight starts.

Miami might be baseball’s least-walked team, but they’ve been working the count of late, taking at least two base-on-balls in four straight games, and in six of eight games since the All-Star break.

They should be able to show some patience against a pitcher who’s been battling it all season.

Aaron Civale prop: Over 1.5 walks (+130 at bet365)
