My analysis
Kawhi Leonard has been tremendous since returning from the All-Star break, and he’s been particularly effective across his last five.
The Los Angeles Clippers' superstar forward has appeared in five straight games, averaging a healthy 25.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. Pre All-Star break, Leonard posted 16.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists across 25.9 minutes, good for 23.6 PRA. Since the break, he’s averaged 24 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.3 dimes across 36 minutes, good for 34.1 PRA.
Leonard has averaged 27 PRA at home compared to 30.4 on the road this season, giving him an advantage at Madison Square Garden. Over his last seven on the road, Leonard has averaged 33.4 PRA.
The New York Knicks defense has been generous to opposing PFs across the last seven games, allowing 21.8 points and 5.2 assists to go with 12.3 rebounds, the second-most in the Association. Leonard has found success against the Knicks since arriving in LA, averaging 29.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists across seven appearances (37.6 PRA).
