After a crazy weekend where numerous stars were traded including Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis, another week of the season begins with a busy slate, as 10 games are scheduled across the league.
I’ll focus on a variety of players here, with two Detroit Pistons featured, as Cade Cunningham and Tobias Harris face the Atlanta Hawks. Elsewhere, I expect Nikola Jokic to light up the New Orleans Pelicans, while Miles Bridges will continue to rise to the occasion for the depleted Charlotte Hornets.
Here are my best NBA picks for DraftKings’ Pick6.

DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for February 3
Miles Bridges 24.5 points: MORE
The Charlotte Hornets are ravaged by injuries. Most notably, LaMelo Ball is out, which means it’s been on Miles Bridges’ shoulders to step up and be the No. 1 option. He’s done a nice job in doing so, averaging 24.6 points in three outings since Melo went on the shelf.
Bridges has scored more than 24.5 points twice in his last five games and also finished with 24 in his most recent contest on Saturday. Yes, he’s averaging just 19.4 points this season, but we have to remember that the Hornets have practically no one healthy. I expect him to keep stepping up with a bigger workload.
Nikola Jokic 27.5 points: MORE
Nikola Jokic is averaging 29.6 PPG and looks to be well on his way to another MVP award. While The Joker had his quietest month in January (27 PPG), he’s showing out lately, registering more than 27.5 points in three of his last five outings, scoring 28 in back-to-back games.
Denver is up against the lowly New Orleans Pelicans tonight and he already scored 27 points against them earlier in the campaign. As for last season? Jokic averaged 29.3 PPG in three appearances against NOLA. I’m expecting another big evening from the Serbian.
Cade Cunningham 10.5 assists: MORE
I know, this is a very high total for assists. But Cade Cunningham is killing the competition in 2024-25, averaging career-highs in points and dimes. He’s dishing an average of 9.2 assists per night. While he’s only compiled more than 10.5 in three of his last six, Cunningham just had 15 assists on Sunday against the Bulls.
Also, the guard absolutely lights up the Atlanta Hawks as a playmaker. He’s averaging 12 assists in two meetings against the Hawks' third-last ranking in dimes allowed. Cunningham will carve Trae Young & Co. up.
Domantas Sabonis 14.5 rebounds: LESS
Domantas Sabonis leads the league in rebounds with 14.4 per game. The Lithuanian big is a beast on the boards and there’s rarely a night where he isn’t grabbing double-digit rebounds. However, he’s compiled less than 14.5 in three of his last five games.
Sacramento takes on the Minnesota Timberwolves, a Top-10 rebounding team. Sabonis has also averaged just 10.7 boards against them this season in three meetings, making 15+ a tall order.
Paolo Banchero 23.5 points: LESS
Paolo Banchero’s season just got started after missing most of the campaign due to injury. In 16 games, he’s averaging 22.8 points. That being said, he has dropped less than 23.5 points in four of the last five games, getting held to just nine points on Saturday.
The Orlando Magic visit the Golden State Warriors tonight and Banchero averaged 21 PPG versus Golden State in 2023-24. While it’s a small sample size, the Duke product is also averaging 12.8 PPG against Western Conference opponents this season in five outings.
Tobias Harris 14.5 points: MORE
Tobias Harris has been a nice addition to a young Detroit Pistons team. No, he’s not putting up the same numbers as he was as Philly's third star back in the day, but it’s a different role. The veteran is averaging 12.9 PPG and has scored more than 14.5 in three consecutive, putting up 19,17, and 16, respectively.
He’s also played well against the Hawks this season, averaging 15.5 points across two meetings. Atlanta is an easier matchup for power forwards too, allowing 23.7 points per contest.
