DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for March 21

Celtics Jayson Tatum 29.5 points: MORE

I know, this is a very high total tonight for Jayson Tatum. That being said, he’s balling out in March, averaging 28.7 PPG. The Boston Celtics star has scored more than 29.5 points in three of his last five appearances and also finished with 28 in one of them.

Tatum didn’t face the Utah Jazz earlier this month but he destroyed them last season, averaging 34 points across two meetings. The Jazz are poor defensively and the Duke product is feeling it right now.

Suns Devin Booker 26.5 points: LESS

Devin Booker was in the midst of a cold streak but he’s since broken out of it, scoring 27 and 41 points across his last two outings. However, the Phoenix Suns are up against the NBA-best Cleveland Cavaliers, who are absolutely fantastic defensively.

The last time Book faced them, he had just 15 points. The Cavs will be focusing on locking Booker up and I do think that will happen. I’m not expecting a big night from him.

Cavs Darius Garland 6.5 assists: MORE

Darius Garland is enjoying a career year for Cleveland. Aside from his impressive scoring, he’s also the team’s best playmaker. Garland is averaging 6.7 assists per night and 6.8 since the All-Star break. He happens to facilitate the rock even better against Western Conference opponents, averaging 7.8 dimes.

The point guard has dished out more than 6.5 assists in three of his last four and had seven dimes against the Suns earlier this season. Phoenix is allowing 8.5 assists to PGs and sits 18th in the Association in dimes allowed.

Rockets Alperen Sengun 10.5 rebounds: MORE

Alperen Sengun is a beast on the boards for the Houston Rockets. He’s averaging 10.5 rebounds per night and he’s killing the competition lately, grabbing more than 10.5 boards in four consecutive appearances. That includes back-to-back games with 15 rebounds. Dominant, to say the least.

The Rockets clash with the Miami Heat tonight, which Sengun destroyed on the glass earlier in the campaign, bringing down 18 rebounds. He’ll continue to make his presence felt down low in this one. This is arguably my favorite entry of the day.

Spurs Devin Vassell 2.5 threes: MORE

Devin Vassell is a respectable shooter from deep, averaging 2.3 makes on 6.5 attempts per game for a 35% clip in 2024-25. The San Antonio Spurs guard has drained more than 2.5 triples in three of his last four contests as well while averaging 2.9 treys in March.

The Spurs face the depleted Philadelphia 76ers this evening, who are allowing opponents to shoot 40.3% from 3-point land across their last three games. This feels like a prime opportunity for Vassell to get hot from beyond the arc.

Celtics Derrick White 17.5 points: MORE

Derrick White is a key piece to the puzzle for the defending champion Celtics, and he’s proving his worth lately when it comes to scoring the rock. The University of Colorado product has registered more than 17.5 points in four straight outings, scoring 18, 22, 18, and 18.

He had 18 against the Jazz on March 10 and Utah allows over 25 PPG to point guards. White is also averaging 19 PPG since the All-Star festivities in the Bay Area. I’m expecting him to ball out in Salt Lake City.
