Eight NBA games are on the slate tonight, with Jimmy Butler’s return to South Beach highlighting my entries as the Golden State Warriors visit the Miami Heat. Others players included are Paolo Banchero, LaMelo Ball, and Draymond Green.

DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for March 25
Paolo Banchero 28.5 points: MORE
The Orlando Magic are chasing a playoff spot and their best player is certainly doing his part. Paolo Banchero is averaging 25.5 ppg this season in 38 outings. In March, however, those numbers have skyrocketed.
He’s averaging 30 points per night in March across 11 appearances and has registered more than 28.5 points in five of his last six. Banchero has also scored more than tonight’s total in three straight. The Magic face the lowly Charlotte Hornets tonight, who have nothing left to play for.
LaMelo Ball 23.5 points: MORE
While I do think the Magic will take care of the Hornets, that doesn’t mean LaMelo Ball won’t show out. The star guard is having a career year, averaging 25.2 points per contest. He’s put up more than 23.5 points in three of his last five outings as well.
The main reason I’m eyeing this entry is due to Ball’s play against the Magic. Yes, Orlando is elite defensively, but they haven’t been able to slow down LaMelo this season. In two meetings, he’s averaging a mind-boggling 39.5 ppg.
Jimmy Butler 21.5 points: MORE
It’s a revenge game for Jimmy Butler tonight as the Dubs are in South Beach to take on the Heat. This is the first time he’ll face his former team since they traded him at the deadline after six seasons. While Jimmy has downplayed his return, he is the ultimate competitor, and there’s definitely going to be extra motivation to perform.
He also happens to be playing well lately. Butler has scored more than 21.5 points in three of his last five appearances, dropping 25, 24, and 23 points. The veteran will keep it up and help Golden State keep up their hot streak.
Draymond Green 5.5 assists: LESS
Draymond Green is one of the Warriors’ top playmakers, averaging 5.7 assists per night this season. But, he’s dished out less than 5.5 dimes in five of his last six games. He’s not facilitating the rock at the highest level lately.
Draymond hasn’t faced the Heat in 2024-25 yet, but they’re 15th in the league in most assists allowed and have actually allowed an average of 21 across their last three, which is respectable. I think you’ll see a quiet game from Green as a passer.
Jalen Duren 11.5 rebounds: MORE
The Detroit Pistons are well on their way to ending a playoff drought, and while Cade Cunningham gets a lot of the credit, they also have a dominant big man in Jalen Duren. The Memphis product is averaging 11.6 points and 10.3 boards this season. Just like many times before, I’ll focus on his rebounding.
Duren has only grabbed more than 11.5 rebounds once in his last five games but the Pistons face the Victor Wembanyama-less San Antonio Spurs tonight, who allow over 22 rebounds per game to centers. Duren also brought down 15 boards against them earlier in the campaign.
Tyler Herro 22.5 points: LESS
Yes, Tyler Herro is having a career year for the Miami Heat, averaging 23.5 points. But, he’s scored less than 22.5 points in four of his previous six outings, and he’s averaging just 20.5 points in March across 12 games.
Also, the last time Herro faced the Dubs, he posted a mere 14 points. Golden State is stout defensively and is allowing right around 21 ppg to shooting guards in 2024-25. They will keep Herro in check this evening.
