Another eight games are on the NBA slate for Thursday, March 27.

I’ll focus on three players from a matchup between the Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets in Salt Lake City, with Jalen Green being the biggest name there. I’m also eyeing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to have another monster performance, while Paolo Banchero should also keep up his torrid scoring run.

Read below for my NBA picks for DraftKings’ Pick6.

DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for March 27

Magic Paolo Banchero 28.5 points: MORE

I had Paolo Banchero in my entries a couple of days ago, and I’m believing in him again. The Orlando Magic star is on an absolute heater at the moment, registering a minimum of 30 points in four straight games. He is balling out.

Banchero has averaged 30.2 ppg across 12 contests in March. He’ll face the severely depleted Dallas Mavericks team tonight. The Duke product shouldn’t have any issues continuing his brilliance here as the Magic chase a playoff berth.

Thunder Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 33.5 points: MORE

I know, this is an extremely high number. But we’re talking about SGA, the MVP frontrunner who is averaging a league-best 32.8 ppg.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is truly an unstoppable force, no matter the opponent. He’s averaging a mind-boggling 35.4 points in March and 33.5 at home, and the OKC Thunder host the Memphis Grizzlies tonight.

SGA hasn’t missed a beat against this foe. Despite the Grizzlies’ solid defense, the Canadian superstar has averaged 36 points across three meetings with Memphis in 2024-25. You can now understand why I’m eyeing this one.

Jazz Isaiah Collier 5.5 assists: LESS

Isaiah Collier isn’t exactly a household name, but he’s a respectable player for the Utah Jazz. We’ll focus on Collier’s playmaking here.

He’s averaging 6.2 dimes per game, and while he’s dished out more than 5.5 assists in three of his last five, Collier will have it tough tonight. The Jazz are taking on the Houston Rockets, who are Top 5 in the Association in fewest assists allowed. I think they will contain Collier’s facilitating this evening.

Heat Tyler Herro 2.5 threes: MORE

Tyler Herro is the main man for the Miami Heat and one of their best 3-point shooters, too. He’s averaging 3.3 makes on 9.0 attempts per night for a 37% clip from long range. Although he’s only drained more than 2.5 triples in two of his last five, Herro has converted 3.1 a night at home. Miami welcomes the Atlanta Hawks to town.

The Hawks are 27th in the league in 3-point percentage allowed, and Herro has averaged 2.7 makes from beyond the arc against them in three meetings in 2024-25. He’ll drain a trio of treys at a minimum.

Rockets Jalen Green 23.5 points: MORE

The Rockets are flourishing, and Jalen Green is a big reason for their success. The guard is averaging 21.5 ppg this season, and he’s been on a tear lately. Green has registered more than 23.5 points in four of his last five appearances, going off for 30+ in three of them.

Houston is in line for an easy win tonight against the lowly Jazz. He played well versus Utah earlier in the campaign as well, scoring 25 points. Green will bring his best in Salt Lake City.

Jazz Walker Kessler 10.5 rebounds: MORE

The Jazz may be a poor team, but Walker Kessler is certainly not a poor player. The big man is an absolute force on the glass, averaging 12.3 rebounds. That’s more than his average point total (11.2 ppg). The center has grabbed more than 10.5 boards in three of his last five appearances.

Kessler is averaging 12.7 rebounds in March, and even though Houston has a dominant big of their own in Alperen Sengun, Kessler still brought down 17 boards against them when they last faced off. He’ll make his presence felt on the glass again.
