There are seven games on the schedule across the Association for Friday, March 28.

Three of my entries will come from a matchup between the Phoenix Suns and Minnesota Timberwolves, as I’m pinpointing Kevin Durant and Anthony Edwards to both put on a show. Other stars included are Karl-Anthony Towns and James Harden.

Read below for my NBA picks for DraftKings’ Pick6.

DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for March 28

Suns Kevin Durant 26.5 points: MORE

Kevin Durant is having a solid campaign despite the Phoenix Suns’ overall struggles. The superstar is averaging 26.9 points while shooting 43% from 3-point land. KD has scored more than 26.5 points in three consecutive outings, registering 42, 38, and 30 points.

The veteran has also played well against the Minnesota Timberwolves, whom the Suns face tonight. He’s averaged 29.5 points across two meetings with Anthony Edwards and Co. I expect Durant to ball out.

Knicks Karl-Anthony Towns 27.5 points: MORE

Karl-Anthony Towns is enjoying a wonderful first season for the New York Knicks, leading the way alongside Jalen Brunson. Towns is averaging 24.6 points and he’s played well lately, putting up more than 27.5 points in three of his last five. He also scored 26 points during that span.

The reason I’m eyeing this entry is due to Towns’ success versus the Milwaukee Bucks. He’s averaging 31 points against them across two meetings in 2024-25, and Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable tonight. That leaves even more opportunity for KAT to show out.

Cavs Darius Garland 2.5 threes: LESS

Don’t get me wrong – Darius Garland is a massive part of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ dominance, and his numbers certainly back that up. And while he’s shooting 40% from downtown this season, that number has dipped to 32% in March with just 2.4 makes on 7.5 attempts per night.

Garland has drained less than 2.5 triples in five consecutive appearances, and although he’s averaged 3.3 treys against the Detroit Pistons, I’m still expecting him to struggle based on the recent trends.

Timberwolves Anthony Edwards 28.5 points: MORE

Anthony Edwards is one of the brightest young stars in the league, and he’s proven that even more this season. Ant is averaging a career-best 27.3 points, and 26.8 points since the All-Star break. While Edwards has scored just 17 points in back-to-back games, he did put up more than 28.5 points in three consecutive contests before that.

Also, Edwards has tormented the Suns in 2024-25, and they have a terrible defense. In three appearances, he’s averaging 33.7 points against Phoenix. The Timberwolves guard is in line for another standout performance.

Timberwolves Rudy Gobert 10.5 rebounds: LESS

Rudy Gobert has always been a force on the boards, but he’s averaging his lowest number of rebounds per game since 2014-15. The big man is bringing down 10.3 boards per night. Gobert has compiled more than 10.5 rebounds in two straight, but prior to that, he had less than tonight’s total in three in a row.

Also, Gobert is averaging just 7.5 rebounds against the Suns this season and 9.9 boards in 12 appearances in March. He’ll have a quiet evening on the glass.

Clippers James Harden 21.5 points: MORE

We’ve seen signature James Harden in March, where he’s averaging 26.4 ppg on 38.7% shooting from 3-point land. The future Hall of Famer has registered more than 21.5 points in four of his last five contests, most recently going off for 29 on Wednesday.

Harden is also averaging 25.2 points against the Eastern Conference, and the Clippers take on a struggling Nets team tonight. Harden had 21 points last time he faced them, and I don’t see him having any issues surpassing that total with ease given the way he’s playing.
