Hawks vs Warriors Prediction, Picks, and Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game

Stephen Curry probably wishes the Atlanta Hawks were in the Western Conference with the way he's been able to dominate their defense in the past. He's on a roll heading into Wednesday, and our NBA expert likes Curry to carve up the Hawks once again.

The Atlanta Hawks head to the Bay Area tonight for a matchup with Stephen Curry and the first-place Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.

My Hawks vs. Warriors predictions are eyeing Stephen Curry to ball out on home court against an Atlanta team that struggles defensively.

Hawks vs Warriors prediction

My best bet
Stephen Curry Over 25.5 points (-130 at bet365)

My analysis

The Golden State Warriors are having a solid season so far, sitting at 10-3. Despite the offseason departure of Klay Thompson, this squad looks like a real contender, led by Stephen Curry. The veteran isn’t putting up huge numbers but he’s still averaging 23 points, 6.4 assists, and 5.3 rebounds.

The nice thing about Golden State is they’re getting contributions from the entire roster, which has taken the load off Curry’s shoulders. However, he is showing out as of late, hitting the Over in points in three of his last four games.

The sharpshooter scored 26 in a loss to the Clippers on Monday and erupted for 30+ in back-to-back games earlier this month against two very good clubs in the Mavericks and the Thunder.

While he’s not going off offensively as consistently as we’ve seen in the past, Curry did destroy the Atlanta Hawks in 2023-24. In two appearances, the 36-year-old averaged 42.5 points.

Atlanta is also 22nd in the Association in defensive rating. This bet holds value tonight and tops my NBA picks for this game.

Hawks vs Warriors same-game parlay

Stephen Curry Over 25.5 points

Over 238.5

Dyson Daniels Over 13.5 points

Although the head-to-head history in recent seasons between the Dubs and Hawks has been relatively back-and-forth, the one common trend is there’s typically a lot of points scored. Five of the last six meetings have hit the Over in total points.

Their last clash in February ended in a 141-134 overtime victory for Atlanta. Yes, the Warriors are one of the better defensive teams in the league, but it’s hard to overlook past history here. Both squads are also Top 10 in the NBA in points per game. Follow the trends and bet the Over.

One of the pleasant surprises for Atlanta amid their injury-riddled campaign has been Dyson Daniels. The Aussie has stepped up and proved to be an important piece on both ends of the floor for Quin Snyder’s group.

In 13 outings, Daniels is averaging 14.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists. He’s playing around 35 minutes per night this month and has taken full advantage of a bigger role. The 21-year-old has hit the Over in points in five of the last six contests, even posting back-to-back 25+ point performances last week.

Snyder is giving Daniels every opportunity to shine. His total is only set at 13.5 tonight as well. This is not a risky bet by any means given the way he’s performing.
