The red-hot Cleveland Cavaliers are in pole position to have home-court advantage throughout the playoffs, and they’ll look to extend their 14-game win streak tonight against the Brooklyn Nets.

Cleveland hasn’t lost since February 4, and my Nets vs. Cavaliers predictions expect more lights-out shot-making here at Rocket Arena. My NBA picks and betting tips take a closer look at this Tuesday, March 11 clash, with Brooklyn on the second night of a back-to-back set.

Nets vs Cavaliers prediction

My best bet
Over 228.5 (-110 at bet365)

My analysis
With a clean bill of health and an electric starting five, there’s no reason to think the Cleveland Cavaliers’ form is going to tail off, and I’m counting on another dominant performance tonight against the Brooklyn Nets

A wager on the Over here is mainly a bet on Cleveland’s league-leading offense, which is averaging 122.9 ppg, and the hosts should reach that mark again with Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland pulling the strings against a Brooklyn backcourt that’s vulnerable to perimeter maestros.

The trends signal a high-scoring battle, with the Cavs hitting the Over in 41 of their 64 outings this season. They’ve scored 118 points or more in seven of their past 10 contests, and they reached the 130-point mark in three of those games.

These teams combine for almost 80 3-pointers a game, so look out for fireworks from downtown. Cleveland leads the NBA in 3-point percentage while the visitors rank just outside the Top 10 in attempts per game from beyond the arc.

Though the Nets are averaging the second-fewest points per game this year (105.1), they’ve scored 111 points or more in three of their past four contests and beat Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers last night thanks to a 63-point second half.

Cam Thomas sat out yesterday but could return here, and Brooklyn has other scoring threats in Cam Johnson and D’Angelo Russell. The Nets likely won’t be able to withstand this Cleveland juggernaut, but I’m banking on a high-scoring matchup.

Nets vs Cavaliers same-game parlay

Over 228.5

Evan Mobley Over 16.5 points

Max Strus Over 2.5 3-pointers

Evan Mobley is in the perfect role in Cleveland next to two elite creators, and I like the Over on his points prop tonight. This 16.5 O/U line feels low, especially with Mobley dropping in at least 17 points in seven of his last nine games.

He scored 19 points against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, and I see the Cavs’ towering frontcourt having the upper hand in the paint here. Mobley shot 57% from the field in February, including an 18-point effort against the Nets.

I’m also riding the hot hand with a Max Strus prop. He’s fresh off a 5-for-9 outing from beyond the arc in Sunday’s impressive victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, and he’s made 42% of his triples so far this month.

With Cleveland’s backcourt drawing so much attention, Strus benefits from a steady diet of catch-and-shoot looks. The vast majority of his shots come from downtown, and there’s real value in the Over on 2.5 made 3-pointers tonight against a Brooklyn team that’s eyeing lottery ping-pong balls.
