My analysis
Tobias Harris is a key piece for this young Detroit Pistons team. In his second tenure in Detroit, the veteran continues to do his part. He’s averaging 13.8 ppg, but that number has increased drastically in February to 17.7.
The 32-year-old has cashed the Over in points in seven of his last eight games and just put up 16 in a victory over the Boston Celtics. The Pistons have won eight in a row, and Harris has been a big factor during that span.
In fact, he’s failed to hit the Over in points just twice this month, even scoring 20+ on five occasions. Harris is playing better at home as well, averaging 15.4 ppg compared to 12.2 on the road.
Even though he scored only seven points earlier in the season against the Denver Nuggets, I still have confidence in him showing out here based on the recent trends. Put the ball in his hands and let Harris cook.

Nikola Jokic is enjoying another monster campaign and remains in the running in the NBA MVP odds. However, we’ll focus on fading the Joker’s playmaking tonight.
The Serbian big man is averaging 10.4 assists per night, but there’s a reason I’m eyeing the Under. He’s only hit the Over in dimes twice in his last 10 games, finishing on 10 assists in a few different outings.
The Pistons are seventh in the league in assists allowed, and Jokic only had eight dimes against them earlier in the campaign. Detroit will keep him in check as a facilitator here.
As previously mentioned, Detroit has won eight consecutive contests, even taking down the Celtics the other night. Four of these victories have come on home court, and they will have that advantage again this evening.
