It’s a bit of a lighter night in the NBA with just four games on the schedule, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of value to be found in the player prop market.

Tonight, we look in on Wendell Carter Jr., who continues to be a double-double machine for the Magic, and see if All-Star Devin Booker can keep a hot hand from downtown when the Suns visit the Pelicans.

Check out our NBA player prop picks for Tuesday, March 15, as we bank on some of the NBA's best to do their thing.

Today’s best NBA player props

Tha Carter 2

Wendell Carter Jr. has been a double-double machine of late for the Orlando Magic, and we’re betting he keeps that up when he and the Magic host the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.

Carter has certainly been a bright spot for the Magic this season, averaging 14.6 points and 10.6 rebounds. But the Magic big man has taken his game to the next level lately. Carter has put up 18.3 points and 11.7 rebounds over the last 10 games and has recorded a double-double nine times over that span.

And the best part is, he has put in the same effort no matter the way the game has played out. Over that 10-game stretch, he has double-doubles in 20-point losses, double-digit wins, as well as close wins and losses.

Now, the Nets are a different team with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on the court, but this unit still can still show some improvement on the defensive end. They rank 13th in defensive rating and 20th in rebounding rate since KD has returned.

On top of that, Brooklyn ranks 17th when it comes to opponent points in the paint this season. While the Magic are double-digit underdogs in this matchup, that shouldn’t slow Carter down.

Pick: Wendell Carter Jr. double-double – Yes (-130)

Fade Cunningham

The Detroit Pistons’ incredible ATS run finally came to an end last time out. But not by much, falling by four points to the Los Angeles Clippers as 3.5-point underdogs. Despite the loss, the Pistons have been a scrappy team of late going 6-5 SU and 10-1 ATS.

A lot of that has had to do with the play of Cade Cunningham. The No. 1 overall pick in last year’s draft is putting up 22.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists over that 11-game stretch. But tonight’s matchup against the Miami Heat could see some of those numbers take a hit.

The Heat are the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, are fully healthy, rank fifth in defensive rating, and are one of the best rebounding teams in the NBA. And that’s where we turn our focus to here — the glass.

Cunningham has definitely put in more work on the boards lately. As noted, he’s well above his season average of 5.9 over the past 11 games, but the matchup with the Heat is not a good one.

Miami allows the fewest opponent rebounds per game while ranking sixth in rebounding rate, and they have done a good job of keeping Cunningham off the glass this season. Cade has been able to grab just three boards in each of the first two games he has played against the Heat this season. Bet on more of the same in this one.

Pick: Cade Cunningham Under 6.5 rebounds (-125)

Book smart

A stint in the NBA’s health and safety protocols didn’t seem to cool off Devin Booker. The Phoenix Suns guard has had a hot hand of late, particularly from beyond the arc, and he’ll look to keep making it rain when the Suns visit the New Orleans Pelicans tonight.

Booker is 11-for-24 (45.8%) from 3-point range over his first three games back in the Suns' lineup and has hit at least three threes in each of those games. Now, he gets a matchup against a Pelicans team that, for one, is dying to have CJ McCollum return and two, isn’t the strongest when it comes to perimeter defense.

The Pels rank 23rd in the NBA in opponent 3-point percentage, but they actually drop to 28th when it comes to opposing guards' 3-point percentage. They do this while ranking a middle-of-the-pack 17th in opponent 3-point attempts per game.

Booker has a hot hand. He’s gone Over 2.5 made threes in four straight games and eight times in his last 12 games overall while attempting nearly eight threes per game over that span. And we’re getting a decent price on the number to boot.

Pick: Devin Booker Over 2.5 made threes (-105)
