Another headliner, a playoff rematch between the Knicks and Hawks, kicks off our NBA prop picks for November 27, as we look to add a profit to what should already be an exciting night of basketball.

Trae extraordinaire
Trae Young is clearly feeling it right now, averaging 30.66 ppg on 60.8 percent shooting over his past three games. Young's averaging 27 ppg in 14 November outings, trending up from just 22.3 in October.
Young's overall 25.6 ppg mark helps explain why his points prop for tonight still sits at 24.5, a number he's 8-3 to the Over against in his past 11 games. It's worth noting that all three Unders were blowouts in which Young likely didn't feel the onus to score as much.
Meanwhile, New York rates close to the NBA's median in both pace and defense, while giving up threes – which Trae constantly hunts – at the NBA's fourth-highest rate. These aren't the numbers-quelling Knicks of last season.
The Hawks are on a back-to-back, but blew out Memphis last night and should feel good heading into this game. Young himself is probably the biggest villain in New York sports at the moment, after filleting the Knicks in last year's playoffs. He has a reputation to uphold and will be amped for this matchup.
Pick: Trae Young Over 24.5 points (-108 at FanDuel)
Bridges over troubled Rockets
The Houston Rockets are an absolute mess this year. At 2-16, they're dead last in the NBA and their inexperienced roster is prone to mistakes at a historic rate.
Houston's 18.9 turnovers per game are not only the most in the NBA this season by a huge margin, they're the most by any team this century. You have to go all the way back to the god-awful 1999-00 Chicago Bulls to find a team that took worse care of the rock.
Tonight, Houston faces Charlotte, pitting two of the NBA's three fastest-paced teams against each other in what's sure to be a track meet. The Hornets love pushing tempo, and the Rockets are too young and dumb to do anything but oblige them. Turnovers will pile up in this one.
Enter Miles Bridges, Charlotte's MIP-candidate swingman, and an abrasive defender who's snared 18 steals in 14 November games and is getting a very appealing +160 to record two or more steals tonight.
At that price, under absolutely ideal circumstances, we're counting on the Rockets to screw up enough and pay off this bet for us.
Pick: Miles Bridges Over 1.5 steals (+160 at bet365)
French quarter
New Orleans visits Utah tonight, giving us a very interesting prop matchup between rebound machines Jonas Valaciunas and Rudy Gobert.
Valanciunas' 10.5 rebounds Over is tempting at plus money, but JV's rebound rates have declined starkly over the past two weeks, and Utah's got the NBA's second-highest effective shooting percentage this season, meaning not a ton of opportunity for JV to stat-pad.
Instead, we're angling to Gobert, whose rebounding total numbers still seem weirdly low. We're getting -105 on the Over 12.5, which Gobert is 9-4 in favor of this month. And while Utah doesn't afford teams many opportunities for defensive boards, the Pels own the NBA's fourth-worst shooting percentage, meaning Gobert and his league-leading 38.5 defensive rebounding rate will likely be able to feast on all the bricks.
Pick: Rudy Gobert Over 12.5 rebounds (-105 at William Hill)
