Pacers vs Bucks same-game parlay (SGP)
When Lillard gets blitzed, he'll pass out of the double team, and you'll likely see an additional pass for an even more wide-open 3-point shot. I believe those open looks could be corner threes by Malik Beasley.
The Pacers will want this to be Patrick Beverley, but the counter move from Doc Rivers should be to increase the minutes of Beasley and get him as many open 3-point looks as possible to make Indiana pay for how it chooses to guard Lillard.
When the bigs for the Pacers also blitz Lillard, they'll be leaving Brook Lopez wide open in the pick-and-roll. There should be help defense, but Lopez isn't afraid to pull the deep three, and I think you could also see Splash Mountain get some wide-open shots from beyond the arc because of Lillard.
Mavericks vs Clippers same-game parlay (SGP)
Harden is an inconsistent scorer in his golden years and won’t get the same touches or clean looks as he did in Game 1.
Irving has to find a way to get the rest of the Mavericks going in Game 2. He had eight potential assists in Game 1 but finished with only four dimes due to Dallas’ poor shooting.
L.A. did a great job dealing with the Mavs’ high screens and forcing Dallas into bad shots in Game 1. If Leonard returns, it gives the Clips a lockdown defender to throw at Doncic.
Suns vs Timberwolves same-game parlay (SGP)
The Suns might not lean on Kevin Durant at the 5, so lineups would then have Royce O’Neal, Grayson Allen, and Josh Okogie as nominal forwards, if not also Bol Bol for a stretch or two. But Phoenix has to do something differently after Game 1, and Durant leading a smaller lineup would at least make Minnesota think.
If Durant is the biggest Sun on the floor, that does not mean he will be guarded by Rudy Gobert. More likely, Karl-Anthony Towns continues in that role or Jaden McDaniels takes on some of the difficulty, leaving Gobert matched up with those undersized forwards. He should enjoy rebounding in that situation.
Adding the Timberwolves moneyline to this same-game parlay is a bet on homecourt advantage, as well as on recognizing Minnesota played only OK in that Game 1 rout.
