The 2025 NBA Paris Game(s) tip off Thursday when the San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers face off at Accor Arena, and my Spurs vs. Pacers predictions love Myles Turner to hit the Over on a points line set far too low.

Read my NBA picks for January 23 to find out more.

Spurs vs Pacers prediction

My best bet
Myles Turner Over 14.5 points (-115 at bet365)

My analysis
I've already highlighted my favorite Victor Wembanyama picks for this game, but this article will focus on the Indiana Pacers' big man.

Myles Turner is averaging 15.5 points per game this season, and an average scoring performance against the San Antonio Spurs will cash the Over on this modest point total.

Over his last nine, Turner has averaged 17.3 points. He’s scored at least 15 points in four straight and seven of nine. On the season, Turner has gone for 15 or more in 20 of 40 games, and dating back to the 2022-23 campaign, he’s reached that scoring mark in 121 of 179 appearances.

Turner finished with 16 and 15 points in two matchups with San Antonio last season, and he’s in a great position to score effectively once again.

Over the last nine games, the Spurs have allowed the fourth-most points and the ninth-highest 3-point percentage to opponents, lowering their defensive rating to 24th in the league.

On the season, San Antonio has allowed opposing centers to average 25.4 points per game, second-most in the Association. Over the last seven games, the Spurs’ defense has been a sieve for big men, allowing a whopping 32.4 points per game, the most in the NBA.

The Spurs' defense has allowed centers to hit 1.2 triples per game overall, including 2.8, the most over the last seven games.

Turner can have his way in the paint, as the Spurs have allowed the 10th-most paint points on the season and the fifth-most over the last nine.

He can also get it done from beyond the arc, giving him multiple scoring options and a clear path to scoring 15 or more in today’s Paris matchup.

Spurs vs Pacers same-game parlay

Myles Turner Over 14.5 points

Over 229.5

Tyrese Haliburton Over 30.5 points+rebounds+assists

The Spurs are 22-19 to the Over, and the Pacers are 22-19-2 to the Over this season. Over the last nine, Indy has scored 117.2 points (eighth), and San Antonio has scored 113.4 (14th).

This game will likely feel like a home game for San Antonio and Wemby, so I expect the Spurs’ offense to have a little extra juice. A matchup in Paris should be loose and free-flowing, and I expect plenty of scoring.

The start of the 2024-25 campaign was rough for Hali, to say the least. He’s picked it up as of late, averaging 19.5 points, nine dimes, and four boards across his last 11 while hitting the Over on this line seven times. In that span, he’s shooting efficient 48.3/36.5/89.1 splits and converting 2.5 triples per tilt.

The Pacers’ offense has been rolling recently, and I expect a high-scoring affair in Paris, offering a great opportunity for Hali to shine.
