The Colorado Buffaloes got back in the win column last week vs. Arizona State but it wasn't a pretty game. The team amassed just 295 yards — their lowest output excluding the Oregon game where they were thrashed.
Tonight, Shedeur Sanders & Co. are back on home soil hosting Stanford, a game where they look to take the next step towards securing bowl eligibility. College football odds have tabbed them as -11.5 point favorites, but I've got my eye on three player props that are not as spooky as you'd think on Friday the 13th.
Let's jump right into my free college football picks and predictions for Stanford vs. Colorado on Friday, October 13.

Best Stanford vs Colorado Week 7 prop picks
Prop bet #1: Not filling the stat sheet
We've already established how bad the Buffaloes defense can be, but we must not forget that the Stanford Cardinal offense may be worse.
This is a team that is averaging just 19 points per game and offensively, while they do most of their production on the ground, this negative game script will force them to abandon the run game.
Casey Filkins is coming off two games where he totaled just 13 yards on seven rush attempts. What's more concerning for Filkins fans is that in the game against Arizona, he did not get a single rush attempt despite the game being close throughout.
Against Oregon, the Cardinal tried to play catch up through the air and Filkins production suffered.
With the Buffaloes such a big favorite, and the likelihood of Stanford playing from behind, I expect limited touches and production from Filkins' in this game.
Casey Filkins prop: Under 40.5 rushing yards (-114 at FanDuel)
Prop bet #2: Slingin' it
After a miserable game vs. Oregon, Shedeur Sanders bounced back in a big way against USC, throwing for 371 yards and four touchdowns.
He then followed that up with an OK performance against a good ASU defense, throwing for just 239 yards and one touchdown.
This week, against a Cardinal defense that gives up yards by the bucketload, especially through the air, I expect Sanders to feast.
As I mentioned last week, Colorado loves to play up-tempo and get off as many snaps as humanly possible on offense, and with the run game contributing just 78.7 yards per game, this is Sanders' game to lose.
Sanders has thrown for at least three touchdowns in three of the six games, but this is by far the worst defense he'll have faced to date.
Shedeur Sanders prop: Over 2.5 passing TDs (-160 at FanDuel)
Prop bet #3: Double down
We went with Jimmy Horn Jr. in our prop picks last week and he let us down, but I have full faith that doubling down is the right move.
Last week's game was an ugly one from an offensive perspective. Both teams seemingly figured out how to play defense and we didn't get the shootout we were expecting.
This week, back on home soil, with the Buffs favored by -11.5, I expect a massive outburst from the Buffs offense and Horn Jr.
Despite finishing with just five catches and 49 years, he still remains a top target for Sanders and with Cardinal's inability to defend the pass, I expect Horn Jr. to put up massive numbers on Friday night.
Jimmy Horn Jr. prop: Over 71.5 Receiving Yards (-114 at FanDuel)
