It should be an outstanding battle when the Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Longhorns meet in Saturday’s SEC Championship game.

My Georgia vs. Texas anytime touchdown picks are centered around a pair of running backs in Nate Frazier and Jaydon Blue.

Georgia Bulldogs freshman tailback Nate Frazier has enjoyed a fantastic rookie season, and my Georgia vs. Texas predictions say he'll cap his first SEC season with a touchdown.

Frazier has recorded a rushing touchdown in five consecutive games. He’s received at least 11+ rushing attempts during that five-game span, and there's no reason to believe he won’t enjoy the same workload against the Texas Longhorns.

He faces a stout Texas rushing defense that's allowed a measly three yards per attempt, but they’ve also surrendered nine rushing touchdowns, eight of which were in the red zone.

I like Frazier’s chances of hitting paydirt on Saturday. The Bulldogs are beginning to move the ball, and while Texas plays strong defense, Georgia can move the chains on them.

Frazier has also busted some long gains and could score that way, but I expect the frosh back to deliver a touchdown if Georgia gets close to the goal line.

Longhorns junior running back Jaydon Blue emerged as quite the touchdown scorer.

The Longhorns' all-purpose back is a valued ground gainer with 562 rushing yards on 110 carries. He leads Texas with six rushing touchdowns and has pranced his way to paydirt twice in his previous four games.

Those numbers alone may not justify a wager, but Blue also plays a role in the Longhorns passing game. Blue has hauled in at least one pass in all 11 games he’s suited up, with four being TD receptions.

Blue’s versatility leads me to believe that scoring a TD is a good bet. Georgia has been playing leaky defense, which has led to surrendering 14 rushing touchdowns and a dozen passing TDs.

Blue will likely be involved in the rushing and passing schemes. He leads the Longhorns with 10 touchdowns and has either a rushing or receiving touchdown in three of his last four. My college football picks like his chances of scoring on Saturday.
