The Ohio State Buckeyes face off against the Georgia Bulldogs in the College Football Playoff semifinals at the Peach Bowl on New Year's Eve.
Both teams are coming off high-scoring shootouts in their previous game, and with plenty of offensive talent and a fast surface at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, bowl game odds have Over/Under set at 62.5.
With oddsmakers expecting plenty of points, I'm looking to back both quarterbacks on their player props. Here are my best free college football prop picks for Ohio State vs. Georgia on Saturday, December 31.

Ohio State vs Georgia props
Bennett Barrage
Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett has been one of the best stories in college football after entering Athens as a walk-on, transferring to junior college, and then coming back to Georgia where he won a national title last year.
The senior was a Heisman Trophy finalist this season after completing 68.1% of his passes for 3,425 yards and 20 scores.
The Buckeyes have one of the top-rated defensive units in the country, but they struggled down the stretch and allowed at least 30 points in three of their last five games.
During that span, they allowed J.J. McCarthy and Sean Clifford to pass for three touchdowns while Maryland's Taulia Tagovailoa threw for 293 yards and a pair of scores. Even Indiana's Dexter Williams had two passing touchdowns in a lopsided loss.
With Bennett throwing for at least two touchdowns in six of his last seven games (including a season-high four TDs against LSU in the SEC Championship) take Over 1.5 TDs.
Stetson Bennett Prop: Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-130 at PointsBet)
Safe and Stroud
Buckeyes' QB C.J. Stroud was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for 3,340 yards and ranking third in the country with 9.4 yards per pass attempt.
The O/U on Stroud's passing yards total is set at 277.5, a number he has eclipsed in eight of his last 11 games. That's all the more impressive when you consider how balanced OSU's offense has been and how often he was reigned in during the second half of blowout victories.
The Bulldogs might be the best defensive team in the country, but they are coming off a game against LSU where they surrendered 502 yards through the air.
Statistically, Georgia's pass defense is slightly worse than Michigan's (Bulldogs are allowing 6.3 yards per pass attempt compared to 5.8 for the Wolverines) and Stroud was able to have success through the air against them in Ohio State's season finale.
Although OSU lost that contest by 22 points, Stroud threw for 349 yards on a season-high 48 pass attempts. With Georgia expected to win this game, Stroud will need to air it out. And with Ohio State's backfield banged up, it's more likely to lean on its aerial attack.
C.J. Stroud Prop: Over 277.5 passing yards (-114 at FanDuel)
Hit the ground running
With the Bulldogs boasting a three-headed monster at running back with Kenny McIntosh, Daijun Edwards, and Kendall Milton, it's tough to trust any one guy with a rushing yards prop.
That said, McIntosh is the most experienced back out of the three and saw his workload increase during the second half of the season. McIntosh averaged just 7.6 carries for just 34.6 rushing yards per game in his first seven contests of the season, but has bumped that up to 14 rush attempts and 77.8 ypg in his last six.
McIntosh didn't find much room to run against LSU, but he still had 55 rushing yards on a team-high 14 carries. Ohio State was bossed in the trenches by Michigan and gave up 216 yards on 22 carries to Donovan Edwards. The Bulldogs also have a powerful offensive line and with McIntosh's rushing yards total set at a modest 57.5, I'll take the Over.
Kenny McIntosh Prop: Over 57.5 rushing yards (-114 at FanDuel)
