Oregon touchdown pick: Dakorien Moore
The Moore-to-Moore connection will be immaculate, as one of the biggest deep threats in Oregon's receiving room is Dakorien Moore, who has recorded a 36-yard catch in three straight games this season. His longest came on a 62-yard touchdown against Boise State in Week 1.
Moore has the second-most receptions on the team and the most receiving touchdowns, while also averaging the most yards per catch.
For the biggest deep threat on the team to have these odds, while consistently making big plays every week, I'll gladly take my chances. I trust Dante Moore to find Dakorien Moore once again.
USC touchdown pick: Kayden Dixon-Wyatt
The highest-targeted receiver on the Trojans is freshman Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, who has been targeted 24 times this season, catching 18 of those passes. On top of that, he has found the end zone twice through his first three games. Dixon-Wyatt has also emerged as their big-play target, ripping off two catches of 30-plus yards. With him being USC quarterback Jayden Maiava’s favorite target and safety blanket, expect Dixon-Wyatt to have plenty of opportunities to find the end zone.
Long-shot touchdown pick: Jayden Maiava
USC quarterback Jayden Maiava is tied with Dante Moore for the second-highest odds to find the end zone Saturday, with Oregon senior receiver Iverson Hooks having the highest at 18%. However, Hooks has caught only one pass this season, which came in the Ducks’ 84-0 win over Portland State.
I can see Maiava using his legs in the red zone to extend a play and find the end zone. The senior quarterback has not found the end zone since Week 0 against San Jose State, but he does use his legs more than Moore.
As the owner of an Oregon moneyline ticket in this matchup, I fully expect the Trojans to be playing from behind, which could force Maiava to use his legs more.
Oregon vs USC touchdown combo
If you pair all three of those touchdowns together, you get a pretty big longshot price that's worth dabbling on, as there should be a ton of points scored in this matchup with both defenses having been very underwhelming.
