We break down the football odds for the Bears vs Titans on Sunday, November 8, with kickoff at 1 p.m. ET.

Against the Spread (ATS) Pick

The Bears' success this season has been due to their defense, which is first in the league in both opponent third-down conversion rate and red-zone scoring.

That said, the Titans have been winning due to a highly efficient offense that churns out yards on the ground and rarely turns the ball over. The Titans offense ranks seventh in the league in third-down conversion rate and second in red-zone scoring.

Not only do the strengths of both teams line up, but their weaknesses do also, with Tennessee's stop-unit ranking 25th in the league in yards allowed and Chicago's offense ranked 29th in scoring. When you add that all together, it looks like their contest on Sunday should be a close one.

The Bears have only lost two games this season by more than three points, while the Titans have only won one contest by more than six points. Expect Chicago to at least keep it tight in this game, and back them with the points.

PREDICTION: Chicago +6 (-110)

Over/Under Pick

Win or lose, the Bears rarely cash the Over, going 4-1 to the Under in their last five games, with the O/U of 46.5 for this Sunday being their highest total of the season.

Tennesee's defense has looked vulnerable this season but Chicago has struggled to move the ball on the ground or through the air. The Bears continue to get poor play out of quarterback Nick Foles, and when Chicago fans are rooting for Mitchell Trubisky to be back under center, you know things are bad.

Chicago ranks sixth in the league in defensive DVOA according to Football Outsiders and will be taking on a Titans squad that is coming off a 20-point performance and put up 24 points the previous week against Pittsburgh. Take The Under.

PREDICTION: Under 46.5 (-110)

Player Prop

Ryan Tannehill has been very efficient for Tennessee, completing 67.4 percent of his passes for 17 touchdowns against just three interceptions. However, Tannehill isn't the sort of QB that racks up crazy yardage numbers or throws the ball more than 40 times every game.

In seven games this year, Tannehill has thrown for more than 250 yards just twice. Don't expect him to throw for a ton of yards against a Chicago defense that holds opposing QBs to 6.2 yards per pass attempt and 228.5 passing yards per game.

PREDICTION: Ryan Tannehill passing yards Under 251.5 (-118)

Chicago vs Tennessee Betting Card

  • Chicago +6 (-110)
  • Under 46.5 (-110)
  • Ryan Tannehill passing yards Under 251.5 (-118)
