Having missed three straight games due to a nagging hamstring, All-Pro wideout A.J. Brown should spark the Eagles' offense when they host the Browns.

The struggling Cleveland Browns will have another difficult clash on Sunday when they visit the Philadelphia Eagles. Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm ET from Lincoln Financial Field in Philly and the game will be televised on FOX.

The Birds are getting back their top two weapons in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, which has my Browns vs. Eagles predictions focusing on Brown, who I expect to light up Cleveland’s defense.

Here are my best NFL picks for Sunday, October 13.

Browns vs Eagles prediction

My best bet
A.J. Brown Over 70.5 receiving yards (-115 at BetMGM)

My analysis

Despite a massive showing in Week 1, A.J. Brown has missed every contest since due to a hamstring injury. As a result, the Philadelphia Eagles offense has averaged just 16.3 points per game with Brown sidelined.

The Eagles have been severely depleted out wide, and as we all know, Brown is WR1 for quarterback Jalen Hurts. The star wideout racked up a whopping 106 receptions last season for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns.

In Brown’s lone appearance in the season opener against the Packers down in Brazil, the veteran reeled in five catches for 119 yards and a TD. The Eagles' offense has also started slow in all three games without him this season, making the connection between Hurts and Brown crucial for early drive success.

This is Brown’s first home game in ‘24, so I expect the Birds to get him heavily involved against the reeling Cleveland Browns

Browns vs Eagles same-game parlay

A.J. Brown Over 70.5 receiving yards

Saquon Barkley Over 83.5 rushing yards

Eagles -9.5

Aside from Brown shining downfield, expect Saquon Barkley to continue his brilliance, too. The running back has been a perfect addition to Philly's offense, ranking third in the entire league in rushing yards with 435.

In four games, the former Giants standout is averaging six yards per attempt and now faces a Browns rush defense that ranks 25th in the NFL. Barkley has hit the Over on 83.5 rushing yards in every single start this season — even in Week 4 when he saw just 10 carries.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are well-rested fresh off a bye. Aside from Brown and Smith, Pro Bowl tackle Lane Johnson is also expected to return. This offense hasn’t been at full strength since Week 1 and it’ll pay off against the Browns.

Cleveland is looking utterly hopeless, as Deshaun Watson and Co. have failed to surpass 20 points once this season. Philly should easily be able to cover on home turf and add to the Browns' misery.
