Get set for an important AFC North matchup when the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens tangle Saturday afternoon at M&T Bank Stadium.

My Browns vs. Ravens anytime touchdown predictions and NFL picks target a player having a career year and one looking to continue his career by finding paydirt.

The Cleveland Browns are running out of bodies in the backfield.

Cleveland RB3 Pierre Strong has been ruled out, as has RB2 Jerome Ford and RB1 Nick Chubb. That leaves the Browns with RB4 D’Onta Foreman to handle most of the rushing duties on Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens.

Foreman has been an off-and-on part of the Cleveland backfield rotation for much of this season. He was forced into action in the Browns Week 17 loss to Miami, rushing for 49 yards on 13 attempts.

The former Chicago Bears RB last scored a touchdown in November 2023 against the Miami Dolphins, but I like his chances of scoring on Saturday.

The Browns are planning on starting Bailey Zappe at quarterback. The wind will be blowing, and the slick, windy conditions are less-than-ideal for any QB to navigate, let alone someone who hasn’t thrown an NFL pass in over a year.

The Ravens have surrendered a dozen rushing scores this season. Foreman should see the bulk of the carries and hopes to land a 2025 contract. I’m betting he finds paydirt on Saturday.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is neck and neck with Bills superstar Josh Allen on the NFL MVP odds board. He could supplant Allen, but he’ll likely need a huge game on Saturday against the Browns to overtake his AFC rival.

That means Jackson will have to throw a couple of scoring strikes, and one player I like to be a recipient of Jackson’s MVP chase is wideout Rashod Bateman.

Bateman is having a career year as the No. 2 passing option behind Zay Flowers. He’s caught 40 of 70 targets for 680 yards and eight touchdown receptions.

Cleveland's secondary is banged up, and Bateman could have a field day as Jackson will look to light Cleveland up.

Bateman has grabbed six of his team-high eight red-zone targets and meets a Cleveland secondary that's allowed 13 scoring strikes within 20 yards.
