It’s not surprising that Sunday Night Football has a Super Bowl feel considering all the hardware shared between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, who butt heads for the first time ever when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the New England Patriots in Week 4.

The NFL betting odds for Bucs at Patriots have seen some huge movements heading into the primetime finale for Sunday. Here’s a closer look at the spread, total and consensus picks for Tampa Bay at New England.

Buccaneers vs Patriots Consensus

Spread Consensus

The point spread for Buccaneers at Patriots opened at Bucs -5.5 last Sunday night and that line didn’t last long, quickly moving to -6 and -6.5 by Monday afternoon. From there, continuous action on the road team pushed this spread to Tampa Bay -7 for most of the week.

However, with some injuries on both sides of the ball for the Buccaneers – TE Rob Gronkowski out and CB Carlton Davis questionable – this spread is ticking down to New England +6.5 as of Sunday morning.

The bulk of the Covers Consensus picks on this game – derived from an educated and experienced community of savvy sports bettors - were made at -6.5 and 77 percent of selections are laying the points with Tampa Bay.

Over/Under Consensus

The total for the Sunday nighter hasn’t seen as much movement as the spread, opening as high as 49.5 points and trimming to 49 points at most sportsbooks.

Covers Consensus is showing 54 percent of picks on the total taking the Under. Total bettors should also note there is possible rain in the forecast for Foxborough tonight, with game-time temperatures dipping into the high-50s.

DraftKings betting splits

DraftKings sportsbooks are reporting heavy one-sided play on the Bucs, with 95 percent of handle (money wagered) on Tampa Bay as well as 92 percent of tickets (bets written). The Over has drawn 66 percent of the handle on the total while 60 percent of bets on the total for tonight's game are on the Over.

Other sportsbook betting splits

Other sportsbooks are reporting similar betting splits on Bucs-Patriots.

WynnBet books have take more than 91 percent of bets on the Buccaneers while over 85 percent of the money also siding with Tampa Bay. The Over has drawn 80 percent of bets on the total with nearly 67 percent of money banking on a high-scoring game tonight.

PointsBet sportsbooks were reporting 94 percent of bets and 96 percent of handle on the visitor as well, with 55 percent of bets on the total taking the Over and adding up to 59 percent of the handle on the total.
