It's going to take more than back and foot injuries to keep CeeDee Lamb out of the lineup.

Sources close to the Dallas Cowboys have indicated the star wide receiver will suit up today when the team takes on the Washington Commanders in the nation's capital.

Lamb's status had been up in the air earlier in the week after the 25-year-old Texas native was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and sat out altogether on Thursday. He was joined on the sidelines by tight end Jake Ferguson (concussion), linebacker Nick Vigil (foot), safety Markquese Bell (shoulder), and guards Zack Martin (ankle, shoulder) and Tyler Smith (ankle, knee).

CeeDee Lamb injury history

Lamb was initially injured in practice on November 16 and was listed as questionable prior to Dallas' Monday Night Football tilt against the Houston Texans two days later. He ultimately chose to return and had one of his finest games of the season, hauling in eight passes for 93 yards.

The three-time Pro Bowler has appeared in all 10 of the Cowboys' games this season after appearing in all 17 games in each of the past two campaigns.

CeeDee Lamb season to date

Although still regarded as one of the top wide receivers in the league, Lamb has come down to earth somewhat in 2024. His yards per game has fallen precariously from 102.9 to 77.4, while his catch percentage has dropped from 74.6 to 63.2.

In fairness, part of the issue has been the recent absence of QB1 Dak Prescott, who tore his hamstring in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons and has been shut down for the remainder of the season. The two players had an undeniable connection that helped propel Lamb to his first All-Pro selection a year ago.

Lamb's questionable status earlier in the week has created some betting value ahead of today's game against the Commanders. His reception and receiving yard lines are well below his season averages, which is as much an indictment of backup quarterback Cooper Rush as it is any uncertainty surrounding Lamb's health.

The best value to be found is in Lamb's anytime touchdown odds, which are priced at +175. He has four TDs through his first 10 games this season after grabbing 12 a year ago.

Prop Over Under
Receiving yards (66.5) -111 -118
Receptions made (5.5) -143 +105
Longest reception (22.5) -118 -111
