Chargers vs Colts MNF Prop Bets: Dicker the Kicker Delivers Again

Cameron Dicker has been a reliable source of points for a banged-up Chargers team. In the friendly confines of Lucas Oil Stadium, our Chargers vs. Colts prop picks expect Dicker to keep on delivering.

Week 16 of the NFL season offers up a fantastic AFC matchup when the 8-6 Los Angeles Chargers meet the 4-9-1 Indianapolis Colts.

The 45.5 total suggests we’ll see some points on the board, and I have three Monday Night Football props for you to consider.

Will Colts RB Zack Moss make an impact on this important AFC clash? Don’t miss our NFL prop picks for the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Indianapolis Colts, and check out our Chargers vs. Colts picks for more.

Chargers vs Colts MNF props

Colts RB Zack Moss is making a start in place of injured RB Jonathan Taylor, and with Nick Foles playing his first game in over a year, I like Moss to find his way at least once into the end zone.

Moss began the season with the Bills and has limited playing time with Indy. He scampered for 81 yards on 24 attempts in place of Taylor last week against the Vikings, with 203 rushing yards on 48 attempts this season.

Moss will be in a timeshare with Deon Jackson, but Moss ruled the snap count last week, delivered a good performance, and will likely get most of the carries Monday.

Moss will be the primary, and Jackson will be more involved in the passing game.

Los Angeles hasn’t been effective against the rush this season, allowing the 28th most yards and 1.1 rushing TDs per contest. The Chargers also allow 128 rushing yards to the RB position, which is a good matchup for Moss.

Look for the Colts to keep the ball on the ground, and they’ll deploy Moss in that role. He should have some success against the softer Chargers' defense, and if Indianapolis can get into the red zone then Moss gets in the end zone.

Zack Moss Prop: Anytime touchdown (+132)

It might be freezing in Indianapolis, but it's warm and toasty in Lucas Oil Stadium, and a 45.5-point total suggests these two teams could score some points.

Los Angeles kicker Cameron Dicker has been one of the Chargers' most consistent offensive weapons, and his field goal prop of Over 1.5 at -115 is a good play for Monday night.

Dicker has kicked two or more field goals in six of his eight games, and it isn’t out of the question to believe he’ll exceed the oddsmakers' total against a Colts team allowing 1.6 FGs per game.

Dicker has made 16-17 FGs with the second-highest percentage. If he steps on the field, it's likely the FG will be good.

The Chargers haven’t set the world on fire offensively this season, but they face a Colts defense surrendering 134 points over their four-game losing streak. That bodes well for Los Angeles, for Dicker, and for us.

Cameron Dicker Prop: Over 1.5 field goals (-115)

Colts WR Parris Campbell has been a forgotten man in the passing game, and his 42.5-yard receiving prop is too high for this contest.

Campbell is Indy’s 2nd leading receiver, but his last three games have been a challenge, with only eight receptions for 70 yards. Campbell ranks 50th in yards after catch (259), but we haven’t seen much of that recently, and with Foles not playing in a year, it doesn’t seem likely Campbell is in line for anything other than a 20-yard stinker.

The Chargers have the 11th-best passing defense and allow 139 yards and 10.6 per catch to receivers. Over the last three games, Campbell hasn’t posted anything close to his season averages, and he’ll have a hard time exceeding the number Monday.

The Colts have a terrific opportunity to keep this one close, and the running game will take center stage for Indianapolis. Foles will be used as a game manager, and that will keep Campbell from exceeding 42.5 receiving yards.

Parris Campbell Prop: Under 42.5 receiving yards -115
