Tonight's Divisional Round odds matchup between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers wasn’t precisely how the preseason pundits drew this up. Still, it should be a fantastic game and a great finish to an exciting Saturday of football.
The Green Bay Packers were written off after a 2-5 start but won five of their last six, including a 48-32 away victory over Dallas in the Wild Card round.
San Francisco currently headlines the latest Super Bowl odds, and star running back Christian McCaffrey led the NFL in rushing while leading the 49ers to the top seed in the NFC.

Christian McCaffrey is arguably the best football player in the NFL. Defenses must plan for him, and the bookmakers fear him.
While the San Francisco 49ers Pro-Bowl running back may have led the league in rushing, McCaffrey hauled in the second-most receptions and the fourth-most receiving yards on the 49ers, and his receiving yards prop is where we’ll find the best value.
McCaffrey leads all running backs in air yards per game (10) and runs more receiving routes than any other running back. Most of his targets came behind the line of scrimmage, yet he still averaged 8.4 yards per reception this season.
While it’s safe to say McCaffrey is “matchup proof,” he does face a Green Bay Packers defense that has recently been stout against the rush. The ‘Pack allowed 128.3 rushing yards per game seasonally but allowed a robust 50.33 rushing yards per game over their previous four.
McCaffrey has 19 receptions for 175 yards over his last five and led all running backs with 5.4 yards per catch. CMC boasts big-play capability as a receiver out of the backfield, with three receiving plays of 20+ since December 1.

Along with doubling down on our best bet, McCaffrey getting into the endzone is usually a given, considering CMC has found paydirt in all but three of his 16 games. He's compiled 14 touchdowns on the ground, with another seven via the air, and has scored at least one TD in three of his previous five.
Finally, McCaffrey has scampered for 75+ in five of his last six and 10 times in 16 games this season. While Green Bay's defense has shored things up over its past four games, it did allow 128 rushing yards per game this season.
The 49ers are -9.5 favorites and should be in cruise control for most of the second half. They will ride their All-Pro back to the finish line, enabling him to clear the 75+ alternative rushing yards hurdle.
