Featured NFL Week 3 odds

Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Jets

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals may be 0-2, but bettors are bullish on them ahead of their road clash against the New York Jets. On Friday, the defending AFC champs were receiving more than 94.6% of the spread handle at Caesars — the only team to do so in Week 3. New York enters this game with a 1-5 ATS record following a SU win.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Indianapolis Colts

The Kansas City Chiefs pay a visit to Lucas Oil Stadium this afternoon as road favorites, and 88% of the tickets on Friday night were backing the Chiefs' spread. However, the big-money bets have actually been on the Indianapolis Colts, so the line has actually moved from -7 to -5.5.

Patrick Mahomes has a history of lighting up Gus Bradley's defensive scheme, so it could be a long day for the Colts. The Over is also 4-0 in Kansas City's last four games on FieldTurf.

NFL Week 3 news

Kittle is back

George Kittle will be making his season debut tonight in Denver, as the star tight end was sidelined for the first two games with a groin injury.

Despite QB Trey Lance's season-ending injury, Kittle has more chemistry with backup Jimmy Garropolo. Kittle should really help bolster a San Francisco 49ers' offense that's averaging just 169.5 passing yards per game through two weeks.

Ravens bolster their pass rush

On Friday, the Baltimore Ravens agreed to terms with veteran pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul on a one-year deal worth $5.5 million. The Ravens only have four sacks to begin the season, and are now bringing in a two-time Super Bowl champion with loads of big-game experience.

How much they get out of Pierre-Paul at age 33, however, is yet to be determined. JPP's best season came all the way back in 2011 when he recorded 16.5 sacks and was named First-team All-Pro. Last season with Tampa Bay, he finished with 9.5 sacks and two interceptions.

NFL Week 3 injuries

Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins

The Buffalo Bills have blown out their first two opponents, but Sunday could be a little closer against the 2-0 Miami Dolphins. Their defense is heavily banged up ahead of today's tilt, starting with All-Pro safety Micah Hyde's season prematurely coming to an end after suffering a herniated disk in Week 2. Fellow star safety Jordan Poyer is also questionable today (foot).

Corner Dane Jackson also suffered a neck injury in Buffalo's latest game and won't suit up. The Bills' secondary is now even thinner as they're already without Pro Bowl DB Tre'Davious White. Defensive tackles Ed Oliver and Jordan Phillips have been ruled out for this afternoon as well.

The combo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have been electric so far for the Phins. With all of these injuries piling up for Buffalo, look for Miami to continue putting up points.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Los Angeles Chargers

Bad news for the Los Angeles Chargers, as star quarterback Justin Herbert is questionable for today's home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars

Herbert is still dealing with a rib injury that he sustained in Week 2 against Kansas City. If he's unable to go, the Chargers will start veteran backup Chase Daniel in his place.

Chargers' running back Austin Ekeler will need to have a big game later today for L.A's offense to have any success. He'll be in tough against a strong Jaguars front-seven that currently ranks third in opponent rushing yards per game (69.5).

NFL Week 3 weather

Only one game is in jeopardy of seeing rain, as the Tampa Bay area is expecting a 47.6% chance of precipitation ahead of Packers-Buccaneers. Meanwhile, the Windy City will be living up to its name, as Soldier Field in Chicago will be anticipating 15.2 mph wind —the highest among any game on Sunday.

Clear forecasts are expected for both Sunday Night Football in the Mile High City, as well as MNF between the Giants and Cowboys in the Meadowlands.
