The Dallas Cowboys head to Northwest Stadium for an NFC East clash with the Washington Commanders on Sunday, November 24.

Both teams are looking to snap losing streaks, and our top same-game parlay NFL picks and Cowboys vs. Commanders predictions expect Dallas to cover the number despite a pair of Washington stars having solid showings.

Cowboys vs Commanders SGP for Week 12

Cowboys +10.5

Terry McLaurin Over 58.5 receiving yards

Brian Robinson Jr. anytime touchdown

A big reason why I’m a believer in the Dallas Cowboys keeping this game competitive is because the Washington Commanders defense has allowed an average of 25.3 points per game across their past three while going 1-2, and two of those opponents have been the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Additionally, Washington has allowed a higher offensive success rate and dropback success rate than Dallas, and the Commanders rank 26th in EPA per play against and 29th in PFF defense grade.

Dallas backup Cooper Rush has lost both starts this year, but he did go 5-1 as a starter during the 2021 and 2022 seasons, and I expect him to have better command of the offense with more first-team reps under his belt.

Turning to Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin, there’s been a lot of hit or miss in his game log this season, but the Cowboys are a favorable matchup for him to have a big afternoon.

Dallas has surrendered the second-highest yards per target (10.4) and catch percentage (71.3%) to opposing wideouts during its five-game losing streak. I’m anticipating McLaurin to be more involved in the passing attack after garnering just two targets during last week’s loss.

Plus, he’s posted the highest aDoT (15.0) and contested catch percentage (73.9%) of his career this year.

Sticking with the Commanders' offense, running back Brian Robinson Jr. has scored in six of eight games, and Dallas has surrendered a rushing touchdown in seven of 10.

Robinson has also taken seven of his 27 red-zone rushes to the house, including four of eight inside the five-yard line.

Additionally, the Cowboys have allowed the most rushing scores (18) in the NFL. Dallas has also allowed opposing offenses to convert red-zone trips into touchdowns at the highest clip (74.3%) in the league.
